  1. I get the love for Trubisky as a great insurance policy, but at the same time, his value is huge and will disappear after this season. If there's someone significant Beane can get for him while his value is high, someone who can be a big piece to the puzzle this year, I think you have to take that chance. Definitely a big gamble, though.
  2. Seriously, I hadn't seen that. Wilkins barrels into Josh and just bounces off of him onto the ground, while Josh steps right over him. Wow.
  3. I like the Bills defense against a backup, but it's not that often you see someone toss for 400 yards. The problem I have with the Jets is their defensive front. They've been mauling guys lately, including Tannehill and Burrow. And we know how our offensive line does against strong defensive fronts...
  4. It ain't over until there are four zeroes on the scoreboard. Until then, you do everything you can to make it impossible for them to come back.
  5. That does really suck. He's awesome to watch, even if it means trouble for us. I'd love to see us play them in the playoffs in BUFF with full rosters.
  6. The only chant for Josh should be “MVP!”
  7. Wait, what??!? I don't think I ever knew that. Holy *****, are you kidding me?
  8. Seems to me like the Bills went into this one with a defensive plan to stop Henry and pressure Tannehill into incompletions. It looked like it worked fairly well in the first half, at least through most of the second quarter. I mean, the Titans offense in the first half was basically three plays: (1) the run by Henry where the defense broke down; (2) the crazy pass that bounced off of the defender and should have been intercepted; and (3) the tipped Allen interception that put them in great field position. I thought the defense actually played pretty well in the first half other than those three fluke plays. Henry had been mostly bottled (except for one run) and Tannehill was getting consistently pressured. My frustration is that all of that went to ***** in the second half.
  9. It's amazing how quickly injuries can derail a season. Count our blessings so far...
  10. Yeah, I just made up the "actively engage" thing, but I guess what I meant by that is basically "blocking". In other words, engaging the defender in a block rather than just running a route or going for the ball. The ones I've seen called seem to be receivers whose interference with the defender looks intentional, like a block, rather than completely unintentional, like an "innocent" collision. So my guess is that it's all how good an actor the receiver is.
  11. I may be in the minority here, and I hate to admit it because he's a Bills guy, but I just can't listen to Murphy as the play-by-play man. His calls of big plays are so blah. There were a couple of TD calls in last week's game where I wasn't even sure he cared much that it was a TD. It feels like blasphemy to say it but I really think Murph needs to be replaced.
  12. Amazing that we've face-stomped four teams in a row with two huge shut-outs and have the largest point differential by a large margin, and we're still looking for us to obliterate someone?
  13. Only if you mix them at the right percentage.
  14. I have no idea what a pick is in this league, but I thought that as long as the receiver (eg, Kelce) doesn’t actively engage the defender that he’s trying to pick, then it’s not a pick.
  15. Just keep winnin'.
  16. Tough call for the Chargers-Ravens game. Can they both lose? Mostly, I'm with @Solomon Grundy. Anything that (potentially) helps move the Chiefs further back in their division standings, the better.
  17. It was weird when I first watched it, then seeing it again now I actually think he may not have known that Sorenson was there. He may have thought he was all on his own and didn't have anyone that was going to catch him, until he suddenly realized Sorenson had caught up with him.
  18. I seriously cannot stop chuckling at this.
  19. Wow, this guy.
  20. A+ post.
  21. It’s just so strange to think that we just scored 38 points and we can still talk about all the points they left on the field tonight.
  22. I mean, seriously, that is huge. No blitzing, yet plenty of pressure. That’s a recipe for success, especially against an offense like this. Kudos to this defensive line. And all of this without Milano…
  23. Narrator: IT WAS NOT
  24. I just want them to win so badly. I want them to pummel KC’s spirits into the ground. Is that asking too much?
