The problem with Jerry, as I see it, is that he knows his job is to ask provocative questions to get sports players to say interesting things, but he has no idea how to do it intelligently and empathetically, which is how you get to the really interesting and insightful stuff. He uses cheap shot questions while exuding the smugness of someone who gets satisfaction from poking the bear just enough to get a response, no matter how little it adds to the conversation. Reading his work is like eating empty calories.

Still a little surprised they moved Brown to LT last week. I would have thought maybe keep Brown at RT where he is comfortable, and move Williams over to LT since he has played there before.

How about: in the final two minutes of each half, the offense gets to choose: spot foul, or 15 yard untimed penalty (ie, clock gets turned back to last play)?

The play fake Allen did on the final 4th and 2 was a work of art. Why don't we do more of that? Would have loved to have seen that on the late 3rd and 2 against the Bucs.

Honestly, I was a little surprised they moved him over to LT. I figured they might keep Brown in the RT spot he's comfortable at, and move Williams over to LT. Williams is not a great LT by any means, but he's played it before, IIRC. But who knows, maybe they were a little worried by a Ford-Brown right side, maybe.

I have faith in those two. Dawkins will get better with an offseason. Brown has the tools, he's still a rookie with only a few starts.

I agree. I'd like to see us bring in one stud G in free agency, then draft one in round 1. Pick up a backup C to groom in round 3 or 4. In two years our OL is a team strength.

Back in the day, that was the most awesome thing. They'd play it during a timeout, and the whole freaking stadium would just shout it back and start dancing. But they'd only do it once or maybe twice a game.

You might say they're 5-4 considering they also lost to the Jags...
