  1. Well, you'd at least think that he'd be able to remember THAT by now without having it written down for him, given how many times he's been repeating it this year....
  2. Mularkey sure seems indifferent to the way things turned out.....
  3. And how exactly do you know that it was "playing them too early" that caused their demise? Perhaps they would have been just as awful if they had waited on the sidelines for another year or two?
  4. Like that would have made a difference?
  5. A lot of folks in the chat room at that time disagreed with me, but I said the same thing. They were moving the ball well to that point. They were 3-5 with only a shred of hope left for the playoffs. They're on the road against the champs. No balls.
  6. You're right...it's been so much fun watching Drew regress to become the biggest joke of a quarterback, why stop now?
  7. I think, given the disaster that is this football season, the Jills should fire all the cheerleaders and bring in a bunch like they did in "The Replacements." That should keep the stands full the rest of the season.
  8. PLAYOFFS???!?!?
  9. Actually, you might view the punting unit as one of our biggest problems last night. Because Moorman was punting the ball so far, the Pats ended up having to move the football that much further to get to the end zone. All that did was give the Pats a huge edge in time of possession. Had Moorman shanked a few, the Pats would have had a much shorter field, and we would have gotten the ball back a lot faster.
  10. You're going that fast, in traffic, with little shoulder, and you're wearing an iPod? And you think your biggest problem is the dog?
  11. Oh man, those "Ask MM" and "Ask TD" articles were just painful to read. Why do they even bother with them anymore? I think politicians give more insightful answers to questions that either of these guys.
  12. I don't care what anybody says...that INT to Troy Brown was the ultimate insult, not to mention an absolutely horrible throw. I'll say it right now, I never want to see that guy play another down for us again. I'm horrified to even think about it.
  13. It's only the second time ever, apparently.
  14. All I have to say is.... GO UTES!!!!!!
  15. Somehow I knew everyone here would be creaming in their pants when they heard about Peters....
  16. Just go to Yahoo.com
  17. At last, all of life's questions answered.....and I have TSW to thank
  18. Great. As long as we're at it, what the hell is cowbell?
  19. This one was awesome: Is that what they call subtle humor?
  20. Absolutely....though you also have to wonder if Big Sam's tirade on the sideline might have something to do with it as well... Here's hoping Gray isn't yet another DC who falls prey to that bastard Charlie Weis...
  21. I don't know that he necessarily needs 150 yards per se, what we really need is to keep running him without getting cute, and getting first downs. That's the most important thing; let Willis get his 3-4 yards on first and second down, and then do whatever it takes to convert the first down. If we can do that, particularly in the first half, it will help tremendously. That's what allows us to wear defenses down in the second half. If Willis and the team can do that and gain only 100 yards, that should still be fine. What I'd really like to see, though, is Willis break a long one.
  22. Granted, 3 out of the last four offenses were pretty putrid, but seeing that the Jets popped 158 on us in the first game and we were able to cut that precisely in half the second time around...well, it just gives a guy hope.
  23. I was going over some of our game stats, since it seemed like our defense has been doing an incredible job this season, particularly in the second half. In fact, our defense has done a pretty amazing job in the second half. In the last four games, the defense has held the opponent to less than 100 yards of offense in the second half, and has done so in 5 out of the 8 games thus far. Better yet, this defense is averaging 89.75 yards allowed in the second half for the entire season. That is pretty amazing, particularly when you consider that we have been competitive in every game right up until the end. So no heavily conservative offenses protecting leads in the second half. Here is the second half yardage breakdown, for those interested: Jets - 79 yards allowed Cards - 95 yards allowed Ravens - 17 yards allowed Dolphins - 36 yards allowed Jets - 158 yards allowed Pats - 143 yards allowed Raiders - 70 yards allowed Jags - 120 yards allowed I can live with that.
  24. Who are you and what have you done with the real FFS???
