Looking for Vikings tickets Nov13th.
Rubes replied to VaBillsBackers's topic in Bills Tickets and Gear
Sorry man! The Vikings tickets sold just last week. -
Happy birthday, SDS!! Keep trying, you’ll catch up to me eventually.

Not disagreeing with the overall sentiment, but just because some of those guys aren't on a team it doesn't mean they aren't as talented as guys currently on rosters. A lot of it has to do with their age, salaries, the cap, and GMs preferring guys they drafted.

Von Miller played just 35 snaps vs the Rams
Rubes replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
Stafford isn't a great scrambler by any means, but I was still really impressed with how Basham chased him down on that one play and tackled him on the sidelines a yard behind the line of scrimmage for a sack. All effort. -
How much of a drop off is Ken Dorsey from Brian Daboll (if any)?
Rubes replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
I thought Daboll was a very good OC with some great game plans and stretches of really excellent playcalling. Also, periods of time when the planning and playcalling were real head scratchers. I'm hoping Dorsey will improve on that. He's got the creativity and all the tools, we'll just have to see. -
Is Allen routinely fooled by pre-snap disguises?
Rubes replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sometimes I think it would be entertaining to see the Bills ultimately pick up Rosen just to make him the #3 QB and relegate him to the practice squad, as a huge troll of the NFL draft gurus. -
Is Boston Media finally starting to sour on Bilicheat?

Yep, exactly what I was going to say. -

I find it very odd that the Titans "are encouraging Brett to stay on the ready" in case the rookie does poorly. I mean, seriously, what self-respecting player would say, "Okay, cool, I'll just hang out for a while and be there for you in case the guy you preferred over me ends up sucking." I get that he's made a lot of money and can do that, but still. -
Way to not read or understand the situation described. Strong work.

Belichick presser - Surprise visitor
Rubes replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
Belichick makes it look like he had to work with a personal coach to teach him how to smile. And the coach quit after three sessions. -
Full Chris Simms Visit with Josh Allen

Wow, that was a really great piece. I didn't think I'd sit through the whole thing, but it was excellent. -

Even smiling for that guy looks like it causes internal pain. -
Cautious, yes...but I do think there is a difference between holding guys out of preseason games and someone not practicing at all for a couple of weeks and only working solo on the side apart from everyone else. There's cautious, and then there's...this. I mean, even Poyer was back in team drills. Alright, settle down everyone with the puns.

Which player on the roster baffles you that they are on this team?
Rubes replied to Wizard's topic in The Stadium Wall
Shocker. -
I see what you did there. 🙃

Of course, just concerned about him missing so much practice time without him seeming to make significant progress in quite some time.

Maybe next to Von Miller, this is maybe the one new guy I've been looking forward to watching the most and seeing what he can do for our defense. Not necessarily because he'll have the largest impact, but just because it seems like his potential is huge and he brings so much excitement and energy to the D-line. His game against Indy was very promising. Nevertheless...he already had a groin injury that kept him out of camp a few days, and now he has what seems like an unspecified calf injury that has kept him out of the last two preseason games, and he's still only working alone on the side per reports. Everybody deals with injuries here and there, but he's now lost a lot of practice time this summer and it's not clear how long he'll continue to be out. Could this be an early achilles problem? Has anyone heard anything about it? I don't recall seeing anything or reading any updates recently. Obviously he's not being put on PUP or IR anything like that, but I feel like he's a huge part of our plans for the D-line this year and it just doesn't seem like a great sign for his availability during a long season...

Could I at least pretend? It makes so much more sense that way.

Pretty sure he was being sarcastic.

Anyone know how good (or perhaps, bad) either is at holding? That’s probably more important to me… -
It's debatable. Some feel it's good to do light stretching after the injury (not if it's too painful). Others say to rest it before stretching it out later.
