  1. There is nothing, absolutely nothing, more demoralizing to a team than to have another team run the ball play after play, right up your gut, and you can't do a damn thing to stop them. That's where we were last night. Right up until those four passes. It's killing me.
  2. Well, to be fair, I give the guy at least a little credit since we started that drive with 4 straight runs. Problem was, once we got inside their 40 yard line, there goes the running game. It's like, you've gotta be kidding me. They can't stop the run. Whatever happens, you DON'T want to give Brady any time on the clock to do anything. Is the conclusion from this anything other than "keep running the ball, you f!@% tard? Run the ball, keep running it, and after that run some more. Even Shaud was running well, so if Willis needs a breather you're still okay. Just run the f!%@$ing ball. It's killing me.
  3. From Peter King: Based on what, the one pass breakup he had last night? Certainly not on the rest of his season.
  4. Is that sig your own, or did you get it somewhere? Classic stuff. I love it.
  5. Exactly. This is the problem I have with the play call (and execution, if you like) on 4th down with the game on the line. To me, it's right up there with "naked bootleg to Drew, that'll fool 'em."
  6. Can't really argue with any of that, Mark. Keep repeating the mantra...OL and DL...OL and DL...OL and DL...
  7. Well, according to the News, Holcomb was supposed to look for Roscoe, but the Pats defense shifted at the last second and he was certain a pass to him would be intercepted. So he did what any good veteran QB would in that situation. Panic. No, the play call did not say "throw to Moulds in the flat", but Moulds in the flat was supposed to be his second option...?
  8. It's a head scratcher, really. My guess is that Gray and Adams disagree on how he should be used, and Adams vision just doesn't fit with the master plan. Sounds like it might be the old fit-the-players-to-the-scheme or fit-the-scheme-to-the-players argument.
  9. "Our guys gave it everything they had, and unfortunately we came up just short. We did some good things out there but obviously we have some things that still need fixing. We're going to have to find a way to fix them."
  10. Making me watch this whole damn f'ing game and making me think, just for one second sometime in the fourth quarter, that maybe they really had a chance to win this one. How f'ing stupid can I be? I should know better than that.
  11. Sorry...officially it was recorded as "no gain."
  12. I can't believe how accurately this reflect my own feelings right now.
  13. Well that just frigging does it for me. That was the absolute dumbest play I have ever seen.
  14. Yes, but it won't mean much because that will just show how bad the Pats are, and it doesn't count as much when you beat bad teams.
  15. No, just the ones we don't throw against.
  16. I doubt it matters. Most likely, this is Belichick's sly plan to lure Tom Clements into thinking they have a banged up secondary, and we know what happens when Clements is faced with a banged up secondary. We get hammered.
  17. Hey, somebody's got to do it. Go start a thread of your own and we'll see who's self-promoting!
  18. Well, I'd say some of us are getting the big picture...
  19. I'm beginning to feel the same way. I've had enough pain during this short season that I'm ready to just plug JP in there and endure the rest. And if JP, why not the rest. I just wish we had someone like that to plug into the defense.
  20. We all wish... But somehow I just can't see the media creaming all over one of our guys.
  21. ...like a puddle of vomitus regurgitated at the back of my throat...
  22. I think you've reached the essence as to how our four guys could beat their five guys. Or at least match them.
