  1. Someone should ask MM this on "Ask Mike Mularkey." I'd like to hear his spin on this one.
  2. I think Conan the Destroyer would be more appropriate for us.
  3. That was great...although he lost me when he had McGahee saying phrases like "albeit a tiny, negligible amount"...
  4. Problem is, for the Bills third and short is more along the lines of third and 9.
  5. Damn good stuff
  6. I think you might be on to something there. However, that would mean admitting that 3/5 of our offensive line is already on the team. Good God, how can that be possible?!? Well, he could be at the level of Pucillo....
  7. And we'll all be able to see the boot mark as well.
  8. But if you listen to MM and TD, Posey has actually been playing very very well for us.
  9. Sounds like he'd be a perfect fit for this team.
  10. From Nick's excellent recount of his time in Buffalo, I'm not sure we even need to be concerned with protesting. Sounds like housecleaning's coming regardless.
  11. I any of our picks in the first three rounds are anything other than an OL or DL, I'm going to be pissed. If any of them are a RB or WR, I'll probably have to buy a new TV.
  12. Nick, that was easily the most entertaining post...ever. I am so incredibly jealous. Sitting between Van and Modrak? Meeting with nearly everyone on staff? Getting on the field, and in the press conferences? What a trip. I'd give anything to spend a couple hours sitting next to Van at a game. The best part was getting to hear some inside stuff at a time when people are dying for inside stuff. The Moulds comment was...interesting. I have my suspicions. The comments on the front office are intriguing. I'm guessing Ralph ripped everyone a new one in the locker room before the press conferences. My stepfather is from England so we've been there a couple times, and the wife and I are hitting Scotland next year. Perhaps next time we're over there we can look you up.
  13. Wait, give me a sec...I know this one...
  14. I think we do have some talent on this team, for sure. We really lack that talent on both lines, and I really wouldn't worry much about the rest of the players. However, what we really lack are coaches who can put it all together. Trying to figure out New England's offense and defense is like trying to do the Saturday NY Times crossword. Trying to figure out our offense and defense is like trying to do the daily Jumble.
  15. Don't worry, most here would never have touched Belichick with a ten foot pole a few years ago. He was a loser.
  16. If Spikes can't play, Spikes can't play. It would be a colossal disappointment, but you have to move on. Regardless, I'd still take Posey, Fletcher, and Crowell with any saved money spent on the lines than Posey, Fletcher, and <Insert High Priced FA LB Here> with less money left to spend on the lines.
  17. "We just need to execute better."
  18. Huh. Let's see how this sounds with a little substitution. "Let's hope McGahee was paying attention Sunday - when he wasn't busy bouncing off his offensive linemen." "McGahee looked like a backup by comparison, a Pop Warner backup." "The fact is, the Bills never had a chance because they were hopelessly outclassed at the game's most vital position: running back." "McGahee was bound to suffer by comparison, and he did not rise to the challenge. He played his worst game since <insert your favorite debacle>. Pats writers, who aren't inclined to give McGahee the benefit of the doubt, were astonished at how poorly he played." Yep. Looks like you can just substitute any Bills player in there and it sounds appropriate. Just another way of saying that JP's play, while poor, is not any more a reason for this loss than the play of every single other player on the team. Except perhaps Fletcher. Or Moorman.
  19. I think this team has about 1,001 more pressing needs than addressing the Spikes situation or considering throwing a boatload of money at another linebacker.
  20. The guy who made the INT was covering the short receiver on that side, but he was playing soft. He left his man when he saw JP looking deep, leaving his guy wide open. JP should have seen that the guy was in position to make a play on the ball. The underneath guy would have had an easy catch, and probably would have gotten it down inside the 10 for an easy FG. Personally, I don't give a rat's a$$. We don't need FGs anymore. I'm tired of great red zone opportunities squandered. FG's don't help this team, TDs do.
  21. "I looked like I just jacked off an elephant!"
  22. Yeah, I'm sure Moulds thought to himself, "A new head coach? Again? Sure, I'll be glad to stick around some more, Ralphie. I love it here."
  23. Whatever. Every week there are countless players that don't practice all week due to nagging injuries, and they still get to play on Sunday because they give the team the best opportunity to win. Just more BS. The whole damn thing has been BS.
  24. How about the Bledslow Naked Bootleg?
  25. I think he's pretty much on target there. Nothing earth-shattering. I would say that the acquisition of Benny Anderson has been a big disappointment for me. I thought he would be a mild upgrade at the position, but he's turned out to be worthy of Pucillo status.
