  1. Joe Marino had a discussion about this on yesterday's podcast with his guest. It's theoretically possible to resign all 5 of Groot, Bernard, Benford, Shakir, and Cook, but not very likely. Best case scenario is probably 4 of the 5, and Cook would be at the bottom of that list, despite how effective he has been this year. I have a buddy who bets a lot on games, and he bet on Cook to achieve some individual stats last game. He was bitching about Cook not being in the game that much against the Chiefs, and I tried to explain it's because the running lanes are clogged, the Chiefs are blitzing a lot, Cook has had some dropsies, and Ty Johnson (and even Ray Davis) is a much better blocker. He couldn't believe the Bills were keeping "their best player" off the field, thought the Bills deserved to lose, and the Bills coaches were terrible. Oh well.
  2. I was kind of thinking Sam Bradford myself, but then your post reminded me...
  3. As I've learned many many times over the years, there is always someone more stupid than anyone can imagine.
  4. How many times total, or how many times today? Kinda lost count at this point. ***** love that clip. In fact, I'm going to go watch it right now, thank you very much.
  5. I can't imagine why anyone would want to work under that owner, but if he thinks it's a good opportunity for his career, more power to him. I'll take those 3rd rounders for sure.
  6. On the last interception by Mahomes to ice it, two things I noticed: Rousseau got both held and facemasked on the play, no call. Crazy, but not surprising. After the INT, Kelce did a little "golf clap"—not sure if that was a respectful clap, or a "hey, congrats on winning your Super Bowl" sarcastic clap. I kind of think it was the latter.
  7. Well, technically it would probably be Taron, but I certainly wouldn't want to take him off the field for any reason.
  8. Atlanta's not bad...
  9. I didn't notice that but Marino on his podcast was talking about Van Demark's play and that he did well even with Jones lined up across from him a couple times.
  10. I guess I'm in the minority, but I saw that and watched it multiple times, and I actually thought it was his last-gasp attempt to knock the ball out (just way off target). I thought it was much more convincing than that ridiculous player from the Colts.
  11. Part of it also is that the Bills have had stability in the coaching staff for many years now. It’s hard to develop younger players over several years when the staff is constantly turning over. Once a new head coach comes in with his staff, many of those development players, drafted by the previous regime, are dumped—or they get new position coaches and/or new systems, and end up not really developing at all. McD and his staff are very good at developing young talent, and it also helps that they and the system have been around now for many years.
  12. Might be tough to make a call especially if there is just enough wind to make the uprights shake a bit. w
  13. Durango is a pretty cool place!
  14. Sure would like to see a couple of TDs tomorrow by #88 again, just like in that game...
  15. I mean, there's a literal mountain of dirt sitting just outside the new stadium.
  16. When was the last time we wore the throwbacks with the red buffalo helmet? Seems like a long time.
  17. I thought it was 21 days once designated to return?
  18. I listen to Joe Marino and Locked on Bills. I like his takes for the most part, and I like that he has an episode every day, and they're not too long—usually about 30-35 minutes each. But sometimes I'm looking for something different. Wondering if you all have ones that you go to during the week that you think are good.
  19. What, are we all supposed to say it or something?
  20. You really hate to see it.
  21. You mean like those two interceptions, both of which came on first down? Yeah, kinda wished we had run the ball instead.
  22. Seriously. Solomon has shown a couple of flashes, but he was completely manhandled on one of the TD runs in the Miami game last week.
  23. Bills really leaning in to this "let them run" approach...
