    You're getting nervous? I'll be nervous if they're dropping balls and getting too many penalties in the final preseason game. Until then, we still have a number of weeks to work things out. It's only August 7th.

    It sounds like he has good speed, which is probably the one thing keeping Shaud on the team. If Gates can show enough speed in the preseason, he would probably bump Shaud off the roster since it sounds like Gates can also play a mean special teams.

    I am definitely concerned with our depth, but I am always hopeful. Then again, I learned my lesson last year. I recall being completely confident that the addition of Bennie Anderson meant that our line could not possibly be any worse than the previous year.

    I don't know if JP will be any better than Rivers, but I agree with the above that Rivers is going to look pretty pedestrian this year. San Diego is probably going to end up being fairly mediocre and the fans will be tearing out their hair for dishing Brees.
