  1. My lasting impression is that TD was great at wheeling-and-dealing, but he scored poorly in two primary areas: talent evaluation and team building. He's probably not even that bad as a talent evaluator. He scored some nice hits over the years, but these were far outweighed by his bad picks, which helped to set this team back a few years. But mostly it was his approach to team building, as many here seem to recognize. But to be fair, I still think there is nobody I'd rather have sitting on my side when there's a deal to be made and I want the better end of it. Oh, and Peter King deserves a B word slap.
  2. Oh that's good stuff. It'll kick your booty, too. Almost unbelievably, we have some really good quality microbreweries out here in Utah.
  3. This is definitely one of the funnier threads in a while...
  4. You can't find the food anywhere else, I'll tell you that.
  5. Wow, I thought they had already shot the last 8 episodes. Apparently not. But then again, they're the last 8 episodes, so who really cares?
  6. But then he will make a remarkable comeback and be treated like a near God as everything he posts will become the Absolute Truth. He will then be courted by Suzy Colbert.
  7. Predicting that some dude named Rosh Reed won't make the team is a bold one? Edit: Wow, that was fast.
  8. I think it was more like a 4th and 2 play so he threw a -4 yard pass.
  9. I watched part of that, too. Nice production.
  10. Bills 2005 Offensive Linemen...a list that will live in infamy!
  11. Nick, that blog entry for game #2 was classic...how's your eye?
  12. And I like this quote from the blog: Damn, if he can pin it down to that narrow a range, why even give a range?
  13. I can see it now. KFFL will report "Undrafted rookie WR impresses coaches, may have shot at roster spot." Then it will get picked up by internet hacks everywhere.
  14. "Wobbly State" Meh. If I were in charge, I would've used: "Czech Please."
  15. Welcome to Utah! Actually, if you had entered with me, they would have waived the membership fee. I've been going there long enough that they pretty much give me my annual membership renewal for free. Remember to let me know when you're back in town...
  16. Of course not. Hmm...maybe I should start my own site writing about the Bills...?
  17. I don't know...to me, it's just a hell of a lot of fun hitting the sports bar with games on everywhere around you...loud as hell, with fans yelling and high fiving everywhere. You always know what's going on in all the games. Plus you eventually start recognizing the same fans there every week and can give each other hell. It's pathetic, but it's fun. There's a guy who's been coming to the bar I go to for years...huge Cincinnati fan. He was there every damn week even when they were so pathetically bad, and usually all by himself. Last year, of course, there was a crowd of 10-12 Bengals fans there every week. But he's still there, right in the middle. True fan.
  18. This is precisely the same thing I said when we signed Anderson. I couldn't have been more wrong. Then again, I don't try to make a name for myself writing about football. Now, do I really think Reyes will be as bad or worse than Bennie? Of course not. There's no way...
