  1. Couldn’t agree more about Hamlin. Seemed like he started out strong but has really regressed the past few weeks. Really becoming a big concern, and teams are figuring out how to take advantage of him. Hyde better come back or we’re going to have to look at a S in the early rounds.
  2. I mean, it also comes down to this: at that point in the game, the only way Miami controls their destiny (not by "hoping" Buffalo screws up) is by getting the ball back. In that situation, the only way they get the ball back is either Singletary scoring, or the Bills messing up the FG. Why would you ever strategically give the opposing team what they want?
  3. Yep, one of the few I managed to get back home for. What a waste. Missed out on Josh Allen so I could see Peterman throw a crap-ton of INTs, again.
  4. I liked his interaction with Gesicki after the game ended.
  5. As someone else said earlier, pretty damn impressive the guy stood up from that and walked away.
  6. Nothing to add, just want to say I appreciate those of you who go back and look at these things. I was wondering how he did.
  7. How’s this?
  8. Well, considering it was a 25-yard FG attempt and an extra point is from 33-yards away, sounds to me like you also have to assume the FG attempt would be automatic. Thus, the odds of running out the clock and kicking the FG should be better.
  9. Interesting that there is a lot of debate on this. My friend, who is an unbiased observer (not a Bills fan), thought it was a horrendously stupid move by Singletary. I preferred running the clock out and kicking it, despite the risk, mostly because they were tied at the time (a miss would result in OT rather than a loss) and because it was a chip shot. He strenuously disagreed with me. I think it comes down to how much risk you thought there was with the FG. My friend thought it was extremely risky given the weather conditions; I thought he was overestimating that risk. At the same time, I’m probably overestimating the risk of Miami taking the ball all the way down for a TD with no timeouts. But who could really blame a Bills fan for overestimating the risk of total collapse in the final seconds? But that’s really the main issue: how much risk you thought there was in the FG with the conditions.
  10. Why? The Dolphins had one timeout left and the Bills had another play to run, so everyone knew they would be able to run the clock out before trying the FG. It didn’t matter at all.
  11. I mean, you might say starting him could be the best way to get him off the roster...
  12. Say stupid things, win stupid prizes...
  13. Cause he injured himself in practice this week.
  14. Quoted for truth.
  15. Because we were within 13 seconds of defeating KC in three straight games as well?

  17. You seriously didn't just say that, did you?

  19. Baldy does give him a lot of praise there, but he also shows a highlight of Saffold completely whiffing on a stunt, forcing Josh to leave the pocket immediately after a play action fake.
  20. Sweeney gets a lot of heat, and deservedly so, but he kicked ass on that last play. Perfect blocking.
  21. Not a bad strategy, will have to consider it...
  22. F%$#! I have a party I have to go to that night at the exact same time. I thought it would work out perfectly, but no. Crap!
  23. I'm still trying to figure out how this will end up as an Edmunds-bashing thread.
  24. The Bills ran the ball a lot more this week because the Pats**** played a ton of dime defense to try and stop Josh and the passing game. I think I read it was like more than half of our offensive snaps the Pats**** were in dime. They weren't putting a lot of guys in the box to stop the run, and the Bills took advantage. I'm not sure I'd say it was the Bills specifically planning for a run-heavy game as much as it was Dorsey/Josh recognizing the looks the Pats**** were giving us and making the right play calls. Encouraging to see (1) the Dorsey had the right plan for a light defensive front, (2) Dorsey/Josh made the right calls, (3) the offense executed the run plays well, and (4) Dorsey stuck with what was working when the Pats**** stayed with the same defense.
