  1. I'm actually mostly encouraged by that list. We should be pretty well off for the next couple of years as long as JP and Evans are locked up.
  2. According to clumpy's page, this saves us what, like $900,000? Also, time for me to eat some crow. I was absolutely convinced that we would get nothing more than a 4th for McGahee. But two low 3rds and a 7th? That's a lot more than I was expecting. Hopefully, the extra 3rd will give us an opportunity to pursue a decent RFA.
  3. An interesting thought, although we would probably have to part with our #2, not the one we would get from the Ravens, considering the latter would be closer to a #3.
  4. Sigh...where's Larry Kinnebrew when you need him?
  5. Only the people on this board think his value is more than a 3rd. I'd even be surprised if we got a 3rd for him.
  6. Okay, so since you brought up the question, here's something to chew on. I asked Chris Brown about our DT situation by e-mail. Although I understand the basics of our DT scheme (the 3-technique and 1-technique/NT are different positions requiring different skill players), it would seem that we need another DT to complement Triplett and McCargo (our current 3-technique guys) and Williams (our 1-technique guy, assuming Anderson is not on the roster next season). Therefore, wouldn't it make sense to get another 1-technique guy in FA or the draft? His response: So there you go. If this coaching staff thinks McCargo would make a good 1-technique guy, then I'm fine with that. And it means Okoye would at least make some sense.
  7. Considering we have no NFL caliber guards on this team, my bet is one of the names out there. Plus hopefully Nick Harper.
  8. Marv sucks. Way too old and senile. Whoops, wrong thread!
  9. I'm actually a Kiwaukee fan, so I'm hoping he comes back. If we can grab someone like Nick Harper as well, I'd feel fairly comfortable with this group.
  10. No, but it may open the door for McGahee to Denver for their 4th or 5th round pick. Probably not, though.
  11. Personally, I'd prefer to just call him a bust now and get it over with. It makes me feel better and validates me as a Bills fan.
  12. I'm renewing, I just have to get my ass in gear.
  13. Unfortunately, we'd have to give up one of ours plus a 3rd and 4th round pick just for a decent one of theirs...
  14. You have to admit that, assuming we get most of the injured guys back for the playoffs, that we will be in considerably better shape than during last year's playoffs -- particularly if guys go down again.
  15. Hmm. Maybe we should change the title of this thread to "Pats fan..."
  16. Not that I have any love for the guy, but....have we all forgotten or given up completely on Villarial? I know he can't stay healthy, but he's still a decent guard to have around.
  17. Too bad that won't get us their 1st round pick.
  18. I highly doubt Preston will get cut, since we are paper thin with respect to depth on the line. If we sign a guard or two, then maybe, but I still think we keep him for depth at least until his contract is up.
  19. That has to be one of the funniest things I've read in a long time.
  20. Unfortunately, the reality is this: we would be lucky to get a 3rd rounder for him, and when we end up getting a 3rd for him, most of the people here will gleefully rip Marv a new one for getting so little in return.
  21. Unbelievable. That said, if we do get most of them back for the playoffs, that's a good group of guys who will be nicely rested.
  22. Ah, those were the days. Good times.
