    Of all of the starters on last year's Colts playoff lineup, none had ever played for any team other than the Colts. I'm not about to double-check that, but it sure sounds impressive.

    Right. And what percentage of NFL players suffer an injury during the season? How many players play all 16 games without an injury?

    Honestly, I think I'd be happy with either one. Either way we get one hell of a linebacker, and that's what we need. It's interesting to think about a linebacking core of Ellison, Crowell, and Poz/Willis. Undersized, maybe, but fast as hell.

    Sigh...this thread makes me realize just how much of my life I've spent on this board over the past...I don't know, decade? Good heavens.

    It wasn't pretty, but they do have the chance to take control in the next game. I'm not sure it'll happen with the same kind of effort. It's tough to watch them, sometimes, when they get into that "milling around" mode -- reacting instead of acting.

    My guess is that they are trying to come up with a way for Tony to be suspicious enough of Chris to "allow" Phil to take his revenge. Tony will proceed to be wracked with guilt and anger enough to off himself in the final episode. Hey, it's just a guess.

    No, not at all. But the pundits need a reason to hoist the Fins on a pedestal every year, and Green looks like a good candidate for an excuse. Culpepper didn't worry me at all, either, but that didn't stop the pundits from thinking he was the last piece to the Super Bowl puzzle for them.

    Well, if the Fins pick up Trent Green, at least the pundits will have SOME reason to pick them to win the AFC East...and the Bills to finish last.

    How could that be done? He comes out with a new draft every time he needs to take a crap. By the time the draft arrives, he's got just about every possibility covered. Except when Marv's picking, of course.

    I was greatly saddened to hear of his passing this morning. But I am also really uplifted by the responses I see here. It's good to see others appreciate him as I have. I only drew a few editorial cartoons for the Cornell Daily Sun, but somehow they keep me listed as a Daily Sun alumnus. I always thought it was kinda cool to have that tiny little connection with KV.
