  1. We need Stroud to make it through the whole season playing at this level and without getting re-injured. Please, no bear prodding.
  2. Google is your friend. And by the way, freaking awesome column. Made my day.
  3. Yeah, but who's gonna tell you bozos to actually take the stuff?
  4. Merriman likely to be placed on IR "Total reconstructive surgery on his knee." I'm no doctor, but that can't be good. Oh wait, yes I am.
  5. Good God, are people really worried about Hardy right now? Wow.
  6. He's at least a decent writer, and at least he acknowledges and embraces his homerism. Yet I still relish in his despair. His stuff after the SB loss was classic, and quite entertaining.
  7. I would actually expect McKelvin to get some chances this week, maybe in the second half. With the heat down in Florida, I imagine they would want McGee to stay as ready as possible.
  8. Even better than just 3 for 16 is the fact that 13 of those 16 third downs were 3rd and 8 or longer. That's the kind of situation your defense really needs to be in to have good success at getting off the field.
  9. Great report, thanks! I'll be up for the Raiders game, hope I can meet up with you and the gang.
  10. Here you go, from a couple of weeks ago: http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=70406 From the Palm Beach Post:
  11. I believe JAX also already lost their starting center as well. Somebody will need to wipe the drool off of Stroud's jersey.
  12. Well, he DID catch a touchdown pass and another long pass from Cassell.
  13. I'm certainly not crying about the injury, but let's face it: I'd much rather punch them in the face with Brady at the helm than without. Still, you play the hand you're dealt.
  14. Whenever I hear Mighty Taco I can only think of one thing... DAY-O!
  15. According to Chris Brown: Most amazing part? Roscoe is only in his 4th season.
  16. Definitely not! I think it just highlights how good this team can be with some serious pressure right up the middle.
  17. Stroud, without question. The defense as a whole played awesome almost entirely because of Stroud.
  18. I've been kind of wondering this... Seattle has a pretty mean pass rush, led by left DE Patrick Kerney, who was second in the NFL last year in sacks with 14.5. But he will be lined up across from Kirk Chambers. Langston Walker will be playing across from Seattle's right DE, rookie Lawrence Jackson. Wouldn't it make more sense to play Walker, the more experienced tackle, at his more comfortable position of RT, against their best DE -- particularly since he'll be moving back to that position again either next week or the week after? Is Chambers so bad on the left side that he would be more of a liability against a rookie DE than against the league's second-leading sacker? I have a feeling that, if Chambers struggles against Kerney, we might see them move Walker back to his natural RT spot and see if Chambers can handle the rookie. Am I way off base here?
  19. I get the sense that their defense is tailor-made to stop our offense. A defensive line that can stop the run and bring a lot of pressure, and linebackers that are extremely fast and fly around the field taking away the short routes. If we can somehow establish the run and stop their pass rush, we could be okay. But if we don't run well and Edwards doesn't have much time, we're screwed.
  20. I recall hearing that he was participating fully in practice this week. I'm guessing Poz's leg would have to be dangling by strands of shredded muscle for him to miss this week's game.
