  1. The degree of idiocy in this thread is fast approaching epic levels.
  2. I would definitely ask him if he knows about Chroise.
  3. For a sec there, I thought you were going to say he was out of peanut butter, and we'd all better watch out. I hear he can be nasty when he's without his peanut butter.
  4. From Mark Gaughan's Inside the NFL column: This was from Wayne Weaver, Jacksonville's owner. Interesting.
  5. Holy crap, that cracked me up. I'd have to say anything by Hall and Oates. Talented, but gay. And I really think Tom is getting off easy with this one. Could you pick songs that were any less gay? Or are you just unable to connect with your inner gay self?
  6. Just think of the most unlikely DE you can dredge up, and that's who we'll take.
  7. Chambers should be kept around. He is definitely a solid backup, and we need those desperately. He may even develop into a decent starter if the opportunity arises. But Chambers is one of those I'd like to see given a 3 or 4 year deal to stick around. I'm hoping they do a similar thing for Freddie Jackson.
  8. I agree. It seemed to me like they were basically back on track. Nothing spectacular, but a decent couple of episodes. Better than most from the last couple of seasons.
  9. One of my favorites of all time. Wish there was a video of that one.
  10. Wow, I didn't see that he resigned. Seems a bit over the top for what was probably just a temporary lapse in judgement, but perhaps this will make more people think twice before saying moronic things and maybe act a little more professionally in their jobs.
  11. Interesting that they don't say what kind of cancer. That, the fact that he was complaining of pain, and the mentioning of multiple places makes me think of generally bad things, like multiple myeloma. Hope I'm wrong.
  12. I hope I never see either of the two centers currently on our roster in a Bills uniform again.
  13. Good point, but I recall Indy needing just one first down and the game would be over...
  14. From Tim Graham's AFC East blog, on the famous Hootie singer: I hope for his sake he got to see Chad before the game, rather than afterward...
  15. UTAH!!!! What a spanking! Utes rock. Makes it hard to believe there isn't a playoff.
  16. And I the following day, along with Ruben Brown, Peter Gabriel, and (ugh) Randy Moss.
  17. Nah, plenty of comedy shows don't have laugh tracks (Scrubs is my favorite), but I was just being facetious.
  18. Screw it, let's just cut or trade all of the starters and see if we can get enough draft picks to draft an entire rookie lineup.
  19. I've watched it a few times on WGN and thought it was really well written. But it just seemed like a Canadian show that would never attract an audience here, probably because it doesn't slap you in the face with a laugh track.
  20. Salt Lake used to be where you'd go if you had zero interest in edible pizza. Now we've got two places that serve some fantastic pizza, some of the best I've had in a long time (since I lived in Buffalo). One of them is a stone's throw from my house: Este Pizza, which serves fantastic NYC-style thin crust pizza. The other is Settebello, an authentic Napoli-style pizzeria which uses a brick oven imported from Italy. Also fantastic thin crust pizza.
  21. I didn't know anyone else even knew about that one.
  22. If we can do that, then we also get an award for best draft ever. How many teams hit on all three first day picks and plug all of their major holes?
