  1. Hope everything is well. All the best.
  2. Seriously...whoever designed the logo for SB XII should never be allowed anywhere near a graphic design studio again.
  3. Just interested to see if the winds are shifting.
  4. I could be thinking of a different play, but I recall Hanny getting bull rushed onto his back one-on-one with Ellis. Not sure if Simmons had anything to do with it, but Hanny didn't exactly hold up his end of the bargain.
  5. He's done okay. But man, did he ever get blown up by Ellis on that last drive against the Jets for the sack that pretty much ended it for us. Nothing like a three-man rush overpowering your five-man offensive line.
  6. Yay, happy birthday!
  7. I stopped drinking pop and started getting those individual packets of Crystal Light or Propel, and just mix with a bottle of water. Good stuff, no calories or sugar.
  8. Man, this is just painful to watch. An uncomfortable reminder of just how bad this team really is.
  9. No kidding. That was perfectly set up and blocked...not sure why it took him so long to hit it.
  10. This is ridiculous. I thought our defense wasn't supposed to be this bad until the fourth quarter. I can't believe how bad they are playing.
  11. Nice pancake by Levitre!
  12. This is nuts. If the Jets are going to keep sending guys every pass play, we really need to get into some 3-step drops and more screen passes to slow them the F down.
  13. That's just ridiculous. The Jets are blitzing on nearly every passing play, you've got to see that and react.
  14. What the hell is up with this defense? Guys running around free all over the place.
  15. Damn, that is pretty freaky.
  16. Something else to consider: The Pats* are 0-4 on the road this year. Officially, they are 1-4, with the one "road" win coming in London against the woeful Bucs. It was considered a "home" game for Tampa. But in true road (non-neutral site) games, they are winless this season. Even though it would screw up our draft position, I truly hope that Fewell can get these guys to beat the Jets and Chiefs before coming home to face the Pats*. Even though there will be zero playoff implications for the game, I imagine the Ralph will be on fire, and it would be nice to see a little excitement for that one.
  17. I think this pretty much says it all. Probably the #1 quality in a head coach, for me, is who takes care of the division first. If Fewell can beat the Dolphins (check), the Jets (coming up), and the Pats* (the big test) -- especially with this crippled team -- then I would fully support giving him a shot at the permanent head coaching spot. But you're right, if he can lead them past the Jets and then the Chiefs, even though that wouldn't exactly be a huge accomplishment overall, it would be setting up a huge playoff-atmosphere game for this team. Knocking off the Pats* at that point would get everybody fired up, I guarantee that.
  18. The same way you lose 25-24 to the Pats*.
  19. Watching repeated shots of Brady, Moss, Welker, and Hoody looking stunned and dismayed on the sideline at the Ralph.
  20. This is one hell of a game, I have to say.
  21. That is hilarous. At the same time, I can't for the life of me figure out what this has to do with the topic.
  22. True enough. I finally went back to that hellish Eric Wood thread back when he was injured and you did make that point, plus you weren't really trollish at all. In fact, I think we've agreed most of the time. I haven't really followed close enough to know that other people have been saying that about him, though.
  23. Really? I need to spell it out for you? Where on here did I ever say anything other than in the immediate hours after his injury, when nobody knew anything? All I said is that the injury was gruesome, and it had the potential to be career-threatening. Based only on my general knowledge of such injuries. Sure, I mentioned people can and do come back from broken bones, but it just looked nasty and could have other ramifications. That was it. Never said anything after his surgery, after any information came out, anything against what he said his doctors told him. But if you want to go ahead and believe that, feel free, tiger.
