  1. Damn, what a great thread.
  2. Buffalo at #23, FWIW Hard to believe ESPN is that desperate for material, but there it is.
  3. I'm not particularly high on Jones, but I watched the replay of the Pats* comeback game and Jones had an outstanding day. He was consistently open, caught a bunch of balls, and was clearly open on deep routes a number of times. Gailey specifically mentioned after the game how he was a good deep threat. I wonder if he'll be better this year with some experience under his belt.
  4. Everyone's a stud at evaluating the first round of a draft. Beyond that, it's probably too much trouble to stay interested.
  5. I dunno, man. How many more times do we need to see McKelvin stride-for-stride with his receiver, only completely unaware of the ball and entirely unable to make a play on it?
  6. I just think the best part about this is that we have no reason to stress out about who gets picked from 1 through 9. Our pass rush has been addressed, and from this point on there are enough good options that we can just take whoever is there. Personally, I'd like to see Floyd or Martin, but I'd even be okay with a LB or CB.
  7. Ain't that the truth.
  8. Perhaps, but I think the main reason horse collar tackles were singled out a few years ago is because of the injuries that accompanied them. Typically, these occurred when a player was sprinting down the field and got caught from behind with a horse collar, and it was that type of situation that caused the injuries. It's probably less of a concern when a QB is within the 15-yard "pocket", since he's not likely running (at least, not full speed). All that said, it does seem strange that they wouldn't have just outlawed all horse collars, and it seems like they should just do it.
  9. I will never, ever vote for any Buffalo Bill for the cover. Are you crazy? Gronk it is.
  10. Dolphins fans protest offseason, GM This offseason is almost surreal...
  11. Bing. Bang. Boom. Gotta love how this is all coming together.
  12. Feel free to leave my wife out of this.
  13. Dude had 10 sacks last year for the Pats*? Hell yeah.
  14. This is sure to go well. /grabs popcorn
  15. LOL, if this was PPP, I'd agree with you...
  16. A colleague at work started an Insanity workout group three days a week at our facility gym, back in January. I joined sometime in February, and it has been kicking my ass inside out since then. I honestly can't think of a better name for it than Insanity. But even after only three times a week for about four-five weeks, I am amazed at the difference. My cardio stamina is so much better, my back and arms are much stronger, and I feel fantastic (when I'm not sore). Then again, I started out way more out of shape than I thought, but hey. I cringe when I think of the upcoming workouts, but the feeling afterward (once the nausea passes) is awesome. I'm thinking of buying it now and filling in a couple more workouts a week, but i have to say its much better doing it with a group together. Anyone else doing this or tried it?
  17. I would be very happy with a LT at #10. I think that would solidify our line for many years. I would be okay with WR, OLB, or CB, too, but my preference would be LT.
  18. So if Mario is going to play LDE, where does that leave Kelsay? As far as I know, Kelsay has never played RDE.
  19. I'm totally good with drafting a LT at 10. I think it would be a great move, and Hairston has proven he would be a good backup option.
  20. It also doesn't suck that the Jets are imploding. Last I heard Sanchez was calling some teammates "gutless" for calling him out anonymously.
  21. I say Disney World.
  22. Chan isn't fat enough to hate.
  23. I just think it would be cool to have three guys on defense all named Williams. That's 27% of your guys with the same name.
  24. Too bad he doesn't play offensive line. He's got the perfect name for this group.
