  1. Awesome. I will always think of him as Blutarsky from now on. Mr. 0.0.
  2. Good point. I remember commenting on how so many home teams this season have decided to wear their whites instead of their darks. I wonder why that is.
  3. Man, if Freddy is back playing Sunday and CJ is out only 1-2 weeks, that would be remarkable. I'd love to have Freddy back for this game -- though at the same time, CJ was really coming into his own. He owned that game against the Browns -- he couldn't be stopped, and that made the offense click like I haven't seen in a long time. I think Chan was like a kid in a candy store calling plays in the Browns game while CJ was in there.
  4. Just remember that there are many degrees of ACL injury, from small/minor tears to really severe or complete tears. They all hurt, but you're able to walk easier with small tears than, say, a complete tear.
  5. I just want the record to show that I made no public predictions about CJ's injury. That said, I was 100% convinced it was either a broken collarbone or separated shoulder. Seriously, given how much pain he was in, the immediate call for help from the bench by Lee Smith, the way they immobilized his arm...sure looked like it had to be one of those two to me.
  6. One other thing that I'm noticing about the replacement refs is that they seem to absolutely suck at figuring out where to place the ball after a play is over. They seem to have a margin of error of +/- 1 yard, at least. I've always been impressed with the regular refs at their ability to spot the ball at the right place, but with these replacements, it almost seems random.
  7. I am seriously laughing my ass off at this right now.
  8. I'm not going to say that Fitz is better than Cutler, but when you consider that Cutler is 0-3 in his last three trips to Lambeau with 2 TDs and 10 INTs, they sure do look like they share some similarities. It was Cutler's 9th game with a less-than-50 QB rating since arriving in Chicago. Cutler is getting eviscerated by the Chicago media, with phrases like "pouty quarterback", "questionable leader", and "a disaster" when playing in night games. Fitz may not have Cutler's physical skills, but I'm not completely convinced he's the better quarterback overall.
  9. Seriously, I think we all suspect there is more to the story. Any hints, or are you just going to leave us with that cliffhanger?
  10. I think you nailed it.
  11. I can hardly believe we finally made it to the end (or the beginning, as it were). Thanks for keeping us company.
  12. Very cool thread, thanks. I honestly have no idea how this game is going to play out. I worry about the Jets defense. If we can come out and run th eball effectively, I think we'll be okay. That's a big "if", though.
  13. I agree. I'm betting bladder infection.
  14. But during a home game??
  15. If I ate one of those things I think I'd have diarrhea for a week.
  16. I'm really hoping that in two days, Brooks is placed on IR and we re-sign Hagan or Roosevelt in his spot so this madness can stop.
  17. No kidding!
  18. I would imagine at least two WR on the practice squad. Easley for sure, if he doesn't get picked up elsewhere, and probably Aiken. I don't think any of our other WR are eligible. Perhaps someone from another team...
  19. You folks do realize that a player has to be cut before he can be placed on the practice squad, right? What's so bad about guys like Carder ending up on the PS to help bring them up to speed better?
  20. Seriously. I'd do it if McGee can't go for half a season.
  21. The problem is if there is ever a play the front four doesn't happen to get pressure, we could be screwed.
  22. I really did LOL at this.
