  1. I'm really interested to see what happens this year -- I think it comes down to how many QBs are taken in picks 1-7. If none or one, I can see us trading down if there is a team like St. Louis or Minnesota looking to move up. I think Buddy really wants to get a seventh pick back if he can. I'd be happy with a 1st round pick in the late teens-early twenties, and an extra 2nd rounder. I think that would help us out a lot.
  2. They may make it to the 2nd, but they won't make it to the Bills' pick.
  3. Well, there's always Wikipedia. That gives you a list of all of the Bills seasons with their record and finish, and if you click on the individual year, it will give you a table with each game and its results. You can just cut and paste those into a spreadsheet. Is that what you wanted? EDIT: Make sure you click on the year in the "Team" column.
  4. Looks like that opening must have cost about $7.25 to make.
  5. They had a retro red helmet with a white standing buffalo many years back (1994) for one of their initial "throwback" games. It was awful. You can see it here.
  6. Probably not, which is why these situations can be difficult. Most surgeons understandably don't want to implant a foreign body into a site of ongoing infection, so it requires a lengthy treatment and recovery time.
  7. He hasn't made too many other defenses look silly.
  8. If he's received six weeks of antibiotics, then he almost certainly has an infection involving the plate/bone in his arm. It's very hard to eradicate infections with antibiotics alone when they involve foreign materials or objects like plates. If the plate has been in a while, we usually recommend removing the plate, treating with antibiotics, waiting, and then putting a new plate back in. My guess is they're trying to see if they can get away with not removing the plate, and hoping the infection clears with antibiotics. It's possible, but not the ideal approach. If that doesn't work (and there's a good chance of that), they'll have to remove the plate, treat again, and put it back in later.
  9. Also, for those interested (warning, spoilers of course): If Game Of Thrones took place entirely on Facebook: Season 3, Episode 1.
  10. Jesus, if that isn't the biggest reason to get off our asses and create a time machine, I don't know what the hell is.
  11. He was just dragging his feet so he wouldn't have to work out this week.
  12. I still think that could be the greatest name in the history of mankind.
  13. I watched seasons 1 & 2 before starting to read the books. I just finished book 3 before the season started, so it will be interesting to see the show for the first time knowing where the plot lines are going. I thought they did a pretty good job in the first episode, but some details in the book were changed or lost in the show. For instance, the reason Jon Snow gave for wanting to join the Wildlings, I thought, was much more convincing in the book than in the show, and I'm not sure why they felt they needed to change it. I also thought the scene with Dany and the slave trader was well done, but was more interesting in the book since we knew Dany understood his language and what he was saying, but didn't let them know that. Also, the scene where Ser Barristan reveals himself was more powerful in the book, but it's pretty clear that they couldn't have done the same in the show. For those who didn't read the books, it occurs later in the timeline. And what, no Strong Belwas?
  14. I think we should create some cool reasons why we should start hating Kolb for not signing the contract already.
  15. I'll agree with that. It seems that Kolb and Fitz are pretty much the same guy, although I'd give Fitz slightly higher marks for durability and Kolb slightly higher marks for potential. In the end, it balances. But at the very least, we have somebody who can play, and who probably won't embarrass us. Yeah, that's how far we've fallen.
  16. If you look in that video, it says Kolb had been sacked 23 times in the last 3 games, including 6 against the Bills that day. That's just about 8 sacks per game for three straight games. Yikes. Any QB would be "injury-prone" (my least favorite football phrase) behind that.
  17. I didn't use to think this, but I'm believing more and more that you draft an impact player at #8, and roll the dice to see who's available in Round 2. An impact LB or WR in round 1 is probably the better way to go. It's likely one of those QBs will be there in round 2, just maybe not one of (Smith, Barkley, EJ). But it's not an easy choice, that's for sure. We can't afford to blow another 1st rounder. Not that we wouldn't by picking a LB or WR, but it would seem the odds of success are better. I don't know.
  18. If he can make it through training camp, preseason, and a few regular season games until Chandler comes back before blowing out his achilles, I guess it'd be worth it.
  19. I still can't get over the fact that Tampa Friggin Bay won a Super Bowl before we did. Man, that hurt.
  20. I guess the question for you Bill is: Is Moore really any better than T. Jackson? I never really thought TJ was anything more than an average QB, and I kind of have the same opinion of Moore. But it's not like I know a ton about either one. If Moore isn't a whole lot better, I'd rather just go with TJ/Fitz/rookie and use the FA money on defense or WR.
