  1. Well, we have to worry about something, I suppose.
  2. Perhaps, but most UDFAs look intriguing this time of year. We'll see come late August.
  3. Come on, somebody has to be upset with this.
  4. I'm not willing to consider it. Leave me alone with my dreams of a Whaley-led team!
  5. And, more importantly, should we be concerned??!?
  6. I'm feeling fairly good about having a former offensive lineman as a head coach. That made me LOL.
  7. It wouldn't be. 16 wins + Divisional Round win + Conference championship win + Super Bowl win = 19-0.
  8. Nah, he just has us losing in the first round of the playoffs is all.
  9. Some folks might still be sore about my juvenile thread on the ugly jersey collars, so I can understand.
  10. Which, if you take the time to look, was actually closed and locked a little while back, hot shot.
  11. Linky More Official Linky Would have been nice, but time to see what the young guys have.
  12. So does that mean just the first and second rounders left?
  13. He could be including the four preseason games, which means he may have left out the last 6 games altogether.
  14. If you want a good reminder of the reaction when Gailey was hired, just go flip through the Stadium Wall Archives and read a few of the thread titles. They currently start somewhere around page 640 in the Archives. Here are some great examples. And really, this is not cherry-picking. What would salvage this disaster? Anyone Else Just Feeling Numb about this Hiring? Let the Doom & Gloom reign Terrible News Even Dallas fans feel bad for us Chan Gailey-more of the same-We will never be a winning team Also, a great quote from an ESPN.com article from January 2010: "It appears that the Bills swung for the fences -- and then settled for a weak grounder to short. To label this an uninspiring hire is an injustice to the uninspiring men who preceded Gailey in Buffalo." Some people tried really hard to convince themselves they should get excited, but most instincts were correct, it seems.
  15. It's almost certainly in the bone at this point.
  16. Has anyone asked him if the crappy collars on the jerseys are gone for this year?
  17. Also, don't forget that the NFL was not nearly the passing league back then as it is now. Couple that with Fergy, who was very green and didn't throw many passes during the early/mid 70s, and I think it accentuates the talent those three guys had. But I do think you're right, if we're considering the best starting two, I think I'd go with Butler-Lewis. If Chris Burkett didn't turn out to be such a head case, he and Reed were a promising duo.
  18. Wide receivers don't have to tackle 220 lb running backs coming at them full speed with a lowered shoulder.
  19. But this guy says it was a huge reach... Honestly, I wish everyone would get on the same page and just tell me what I'm supposed to think of the Manuel pick.
  20. Well done, JW, and HfB. Thanks for all of your insight, keep up the great work.
