  1. Amen, brother.
  2. You can? I thought that was the whole reason for the rule. Nobody takes off their helmet during the play.
  3. Holy **** was that awesome.
  4. The thing I was surprised about is that EJ didn't get flagged for taking off his helmet on the field after the TD. We could have been kicking off from the 20.
  5. Good stuff. Thanks for pointing it out.
  6. Actually, NFLN just put up a graphic that showed pretty much the opposite.
  7. I'm pretty sure that game was the lowest of the low points for us. It really is hard to fathom. Jesus, I can't believe you actually went looking for this.
  8. Healthy scratch both games.
  9. Indy could use the RB help, and in a relatively wide-open AFC, a stud back like that could make them a serious contender. As for the Browns, they're all in for the draft next year. Can't see them going for Johnny Football, though.
  10. Brian Hoyer to start for Browns Might help make up for the short week, we'll see.
  11. Not exactly. IIRC, the team was still wearing the red helmets back then, and didn't want to switch back to white helmets just for one game. Probably too much of a change to get used to. So they just decided to invert the old design, and go with the white standing Buffalo on a red helmet.
  12. I saw that video too, and the first thing I thought was: you can REALLY tell it was true PI on that play. None of the other replays made it seem terribly obvious, but this one really clarifies it for me.
  13. Perhaps the best part of this is, if Leodis continues to do well, we won't have to look at CB early in next year's draft, and can turn our attention to filling other holes like LG, TE, and maybe LB.
  14. New England had the 7th-ranked rushing offense last season, averaging 136.5 yards per game. They had 523 rushing attempts last season, second most in the league, with an average of 4.2 yards per carry. By contrast, the Bills ran only 442 times last season, or 27.6 times per game. They may not be "known" as a running team, but they are very much a running team.
  15. Man, one win and now everybody's all cocky.
  16. EJ and the Bills won't have the luxury of the home crowd helping out. We'll see how they handle things on the road.
  17. Small point, but the strip/fumble is considered a sack as well since it was behind the LOS.
  18. That will never change, true. The Pats* are right up there as well, now. But I've never had a similar hatred of the Jets. Although I do still hate them, don't get me wrong.
  19. I generally don't like to make too much out of early-season games, but this one coming up is pretty big. Very big.
  20. I'm eager to see how he does in his first road game, against a strong defense. Not much room for error next week.
  21. He's done a nice job so far. I want to see him really earn that paycheck next week, though. It won't be easy. The Jets aren't as bad as everybody makes them out to be. A strong defensive showing next week can help us get to 2-1, which would be awesome. I'm hoping he is intensely motivated to show his old coach a thing or two.
  22. I thought the offensive line as a whole did extremely well in both games so far, especially considering they were up against two very good defensive lines.
  23. Why does this all sound so familiar...
