Oh really? How many DTs league wide are winning more and how many of them are getting double teamed more?
Sure, you do you.

Taking on 600lbs of OL blockers compared to Ed only taking on 300lbs percentage wise and still applying more pressure is absolutely killing it. Having that much beef to contend with regularly is no small feat.
He's taking on a lot more, but it's not like he's got a great win percentage, so I'm not sure how you conclude that's "killing it."
He's doing his job, basically, which is to occupy blockers. He's not necessarily beating them.
Like I said, he's doing better than Ed, but that's not the same as killing it.

Daquan Jones, on the other hand, is killing it.
Not sure I'd say exactly that. DaQuon is clearly getting more double teams, but his win rate is only slightly higher than Ed's.
Now, that does imply that DaQuon is doing better than Ed because he's winning a bit more often against more guys, but I don't think I'd look at that graph and think DaQuon is "killing it."
All that said, I'm very happy how DaQuon has been playing. Pretty happy with Ed, too, if I'm being honest.

I mean, Salt Lake is a pretty awesome place to live. It does get below 45 in the winter, but usually not that much below it. Good golfing, great healthcare (natch), SLC is an excellent airport hub, Park City is a 25 minute drive away, amazing skiing/hiking/camping options in short driving distance, 5 national parks in the state, 2 more across the borders (NV and WY), something like 300 days of sun per year, fiber internet everywhere, and so on.
And no, you don't have to be a Mormon to enjoy it here.
And yes, you can also ski and golf in the same day. Some have even gone skiing in July some years.

Very sad. My favorite line of hers from Downton Abbey.

It's promising, but I'd like to see how he does against an offense with a good running game and a strong TE before I anoint him as the new starter over Milano.

Would be really nice.
I've read that CB and Douglas have become close friends. It would be great if we could somehow keep both, but I doubt we have the cap space.

Not a popular opinion, but I love the white-on blues.

But we have injuries now, and the team is playing through them. There was a 180-degree attitude shift after that London game. Remember all the "players-only meetings?"
Just addressing why there was such a shift last year. This year we probably just have better depth to deal with injuries at key positions.

I remember when we were the "best team in the NFL" when we beat Miami last year in week 4. I just don't understand what happened when they came back from London last year. Losing that single game should not have derailed things so badly.
Uh, injuries?

Let's see how Brady performs against the Chiefs this year—in the regular season and, hopefully, in the playoffs.
If he gets us past them, then I'll worry.

- All three of our running backs getting TDs
- Damar (someone was cutting onions in my house)
- Shakir getting up from that TD play (thought he was injured for sure)
- Ingram...making yet another play? Uncanny.
- Solomon and Toohill grabbing the stat sheet
- Von still on track for 17 sacks this season
- Countless passes defensed in spectacular fashion
- Both starting QBs in ballcaps on the sidelines
- McCorkle doing McCorkle things
- Mitch and Andreessen on the field for cleanup duty
What a night.

Brady and Babich for president/vice president
We're all loving them right now, but I imagine we also were pretty high on Dorsey about this time last year when we were sitting at 3-1 after three straight demolitions of the Raiders, Commanders, and Dolphins. Who knows what will happen when adversity comes knocking?

You ain’t lying- but I do believe that the league will uncover a thing or two that will slow us down some. The adapting to that will decide our season……along with some luck.
Very true. It also remains to be seen how the coaches will adapt once their tendencies are better known, but also when they go up against a really good defense as well.

We'll definitely lose at some point, but as you say, that's okay. We may even put up a stinker, like last year's Jags game. But that's okay too.
Love the way this team has come together. I'd like to see how they do when they're really put to the test, like on the road against a team with a strong defense.

It's also why you gotta hit the big ones when they're available. I'd like to see Josh hit those more...the miss to MVS didn't ultimately hurt, but that's the kind we really need him to hit when it's there.

I am, since 1999, but the Internet Archive doesn't go back that far... my first appearance in the archive under by first name "Rabid Bills Fan in VA" back in 2001! I was stationed in Virginia Beach back then at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base, but drove to Oceana for the Bills Backers bar there... that was BEFORE A.J. Gators became dominant.

Nice. Cool to see some of those old names again. I've been around forever, but I have no idea when I started posting.

You greatly overestimate the talent level of the Jags offense. To this point, Lawrence has been the epitome of under performing talent in his career. Very inconsistent. Thomas is a rookie. Davis is the definition of pedestrian, and Kirk barely got in the game last week. Etienne has averaged 4.4 yards per carry in his career but less than 4 last year and so far this year. He gets heavy usage but to little great effect. I would not trade Cook for him at this point. I would take Kincaid and Knox over Engram and whoever as well. About the only thing that concerns me about the jags on offense is Trevor scrambling.
Sure, but nevertheless the guy is 2-0 in his career against the Bills. No matter how underwhelming he is or how poor his teams are, he still somehow finds a way to win against us. That has to count for something.

I dont care if it was a "good play call". Sirianni blew that game for them. You run it on 3rd down, then if you want to go for the first down, you do it on 4th and that play call is fine.
The only realistic way the Eagles in that situation lose the game is to stop the clock AND not get the first down. Only way that scenario comes into play is by that play call.
Agreed. I don't know why or how these coaches just out think themselves and make boneheaded calls.
The Browns game was the same thing. Browns had the ball with 1:37 left to go on the Jags 38 with a 3rd and 6. Jags just used their last timeout, can't stop the clock anymore. Down 5, their only hope is to somehow get the ball back and score a TD. If the Browns run the ball, they make the first down and ice the game, or they don't and punt the ball back to the Jags, who will likely get the ball deep in their own territory with what should be well under a minute left and the entire length of the field to go.
So what do the Browns do? Swing pass, incomplete, clock stops. Punt, Jags get the ball at their own 10 with 1:27 left. They got all the way to the Browns 33 before a couple of incomplete passes iced it for the Browns, but not after having to sweat it out unnecessarily.

To think I turned the game off after the tush push gave the Eagles a first down after the 2 minute warning. Damn.

Weird, there are only 23 passes documented on that chart. Where are the other 2? They should be incompletions.
