  1. I know some folks are down on Knox, but he'd be my choice as well.
  2. Gabe is the last person on this roster I would think of throwing a jump ball to.
  3. One thing I think we're not talking about a lot is special teams, and the impact the weather and some of these injuries might have. Despite Harty's breakout last week and Martin's special teams honors, our ST have been abysmal this year. This seems like the kind of game where either team could have a breakdown that allows a big return. I'd be more worried about us having that breakdown given how bad we've been this year. In a close scoring game, a big return or two could be all the difference.
  4. Apparently the Pats*** "established a firm, contractual succession plan in a prior contract."
  5. That's what it sounded like. He was designated the successor to Belichick in his contract, so they're saying.
  6. I mean, I get that he's promising, but why would you hire a guy as your LB coach and include a clause in the contract that he gets to succeed Belichick as the head coach? The LB coach?
  7. Saw it posted somewhere that McD is now the 4th longest active tenured coach in the league, looks like that is confirmed above. Also saw that McDermott is the only currently active coach hired before 2019 who HASN'T been to the Super Bowl, also confirmed above. Both of those are pretty eye opening. I, for one, like him as a coach and am glad he's here. But the lack of a Super Bowl appearance at this point is tough.
  8. ...with 25 mph winds and a wind chill of 5 degrees.
  9. Miami. Always Miami. If you followed the Bills at all during the 70s, there will always be a deep and everlasting hatred for Miami. KC was a close second. I, for one, would NOT be happy with Green Bay winning it all, mostly because there are so many ***** annoying Packers fans here.
  10. Congratulations, man! I know you've talked about your personal life on here every now and then, and it's really cool to see things working out so awesomely for you. Hopefully he'll get to grow up knowing the Bills only as a perennial playoff team and Super Bowl contender/winner.
  11. I was thinking this as well. If conditions are really bad, there's an advantage to having Josh as a frequent running option as it puts more pressure on the defense.
  12. I think really what people are trying to say here is that it's going to come down to our offense not turning the ball over, and our defense stopping the run.
  13. FWIW, Watt is officially OUT for Sunday.
  14. Seriously. It's like everyone has forgotten that we lost to freaking Zach Wilson and Mac Jones this year.
  15. What are you talking about? If Allen gets that first down on the final 4th and 1, the Bills would have run out the entire final 5:30 (or whatever it was) of clock, which would have been super impressive to me. He was that close to doing it.
  16. I'm with you on Cleveland, though a lot of folks on here will disagree. I'm pushing for KC to beat Miami on Saturday, not just because I want a piece of KC at home in Buffalo, but also because that means Cleveland (assuming they win) will face Baltimore.
  17. "This year is nothing like 2021. The schedule is much harder this year. No way they win out and make the playoffs this time."
  18. Early weather report: 24 degrees, 34% chance of snow, 17 mph winds. Ugh…
  19. Yes...unless we tie tonight.
  20. The latest is that Waddle has made significant progress as of today. Also, Morse has an illness and is now questionable for Sunday. smh…
  21. But will he be available all the way at pick #32?
  22. Holy moly, I would have never expected to see an injury report like that this late in the season...
