  1. Man, if there's one thing you can say about this, it's really !@#$ed with a lot of people's heads. This is kinda fun.
  2. Except for the fact that TT made a critical mistake and took a sack instead of throwing it away, which led directly to the missed FG.
  3. It's all about the rings. Unfortunately wedding rings, not Super Bowl rings.
  4. So is everyone prepared to say that a strong showing by EJ on Saturday may lock up the starting QB job? Seemed that way for TT if he had started.
  5. I certainly haven't seen that trait from TT so far.
  6. Not trying to promote EJ over TT, but I think EJ took a lot of criticism previously for not knowing what to do with the ball, which resulted in injuries and setbacks. I'm seeing similar behavior from TT. A lot of it can be chalked up to inexperience, but the way TT plays, he'd better learn that quick or he's going to be another casualty.
  7. I know, right? Welcome back, Simon.
  8. Except for the fact that Carpenter most likely would have made the FG if it were not for a bad sack that TT took on 3rd down instead of throwing it away, pushing the attempt back significantly. TT did a nice job moving the ball down the field on that drive, for certain, but it's not like he didn't make some important mistakes, like the above, that potentially cost them points.
  9. Thanks again for everything, Astro. You are like the first drink of water after crossing the desert.
  10. I guess the nice thing is that, even though TT was missing open guys, he was still able to make positive plays and keep the drive alive. That opening drive was impressive even though it ended up with no points. TT needs to figure out how/when to slide or get out of bounds, and when to throw it away to avoid the sack. Sometimes success scrambling leads guys like him to think he can get out of anything, which just leads inevitably to a big sack that either takes the team out of FG range, or makes it harder resulting in a miss. Thanks for the review, Cleve!
  11. Pretty amazing the range of opinions on TT and EJ. Pretty much both ends of the spectrum on each. Crazy. I have to say, I have no idea myself who the better QB is right now. I'd like to see EJ with the 1s, but I think both can do well with more reps. I don't think either is quite ready yet, but both have some good qualities and some bad qualities. Tough call.
  12. Especially since it would mean we did such a crappy job of it over the past 15 years.
  13. Think he'll hit the market, like Russell Wilson or Philip Rivers did?
  14. Damn, are we going to have to attach yet another asterisk to their name?
  15. Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter Cardinals' LG MIke Iupati is likely to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery this week that would sideline him 6-8 weeks, per source.
  16. The one for the Browns is !@#$ing hilarious. "I do these previews every year, and frankly I’m just wasting my time with the other 31 teams. The Browns are the original suck. They are the epicenter of suck."
  17. Look forward to this every year.
  18. I can't find anything scientific or analytic about that. Sounds to me like someone eyeballing Murray's workouts, and claiming success when it happened to work in his favor.
  19. May very well be. That would be more sensitive than a hernia, I'd guess.
  20. Man, this is ridiculous.
  21. Sounds like more than a sports hernia to me.
  22. Oh for God's sake, can't people around here just grow up for a change?
