  1. I, for one, am axiously waiting for the walk of shame. They've already foreshadowed it with the previous high septon. Unlike the books, Cersei won't get caught sleeping with "everyone but Moonboy," but they've set her up with Lancel's character and her role in Robert's death. I don't know why they decided to have Cersei go after Margaery's brother instead of her, but it will work out the same, I guess. However, I think I've said one of my favorite parts of the books is when Cersei suddenly realizes she's screwed and tries to escape, but it looks like they probably won't do the same scene in the show. As for Sansa, I think it's going to get ugly. I don't think they'll let Ramsay pop her cherry, or perhaps they will but Sansa will get her revenge during the act. But I have a feeling that it will be bloody. She has the option of lighting the candle in her window as per last episode, but not sure what the response will be. Perhaps Brienne will come to her aid. I'm expecting blood and death. Would be interesting if it's fit into the attack by Stannis. But it's anybody's guess at this point, since this storyline is so far removed from the books.
  2. "Look, guys, we really don't think you did anything wrong, but we have to fire your asses because we need some fall guys. Sorry, sucks for you. But hey, before you go, would you mind doing us a large and sign this NDA so nobody finds out how ****ty we really are? We'll give you a bunch of money just to be sure. Really appreciate that." Or...
  3. If they were truly fired, I imagine reporters will be all over that wanting to get the real story. i imagine someone will pay them a ridiculous amount to tell it all.
  4. USA Hockey @USAHockeyScores USA GOAL!! Jack Eichel gets the game-winning goal with 5 seconds left in OT! U.S. clinches the top spot in the B Group. #IIHFWorlds #2015MWC
  5. He can practice all offseason, just not during the 4-game suspension period. Probably not a big deal with respect to practicing.
  6. I haven't seen tonight's episode yet (not sure if it's played on the East coast yet), but they haven't talked specifically about that yet. Stannis did bring up the issue of what to do with the wildlings after he and his army makes for Winterfell, but I don't think anything specific was mentioned yet about settling in the North or in the abandoned castles.
  7. This is going to be fascinating. If Goodell doesn't come down hard on the Pats**, there will be a very loud outcry from the masses. Not to mention that it would be quite hypocritical, given his past statements about integrity and punishment. If he does come down hard on the Pats**, there is going to be an angry outcry from the Pats** organization, particularly from Kraft. There will be challenges, appeals, many defiant and angry words. And who knows what that would mean to the relationship between Goodell and Kraft. Either way, that's a ****-storm the NFL really doesn't want on its hands. It's going to have one or the other, it seems.
  8. My entire opinion of Matt Cassel just changed.
  9. That would require Jets and Fins fans who actually have the ability to string more than two words together coherently.
  10. I know, I was just trying to justify my beloved Dan Carpenter jersey.
  11. ProFootballTalk @ProFootballTalk Browns, Falcons may set precedent for Patriots punishment, which could be good news for the Patriots wp.me/p14QSB-9LB7
  12. That has to be the tweet of the day right there.
  13. ProFootballTalk @ProFootballTalk And now perhaps we know why the Falcons and Browns got a slap on the wrist. Sets a recent precedent for the Patriots.
  14. Thanks for the heads up at the end. I don't usually hold grudges, and I'm a pretty reasonable guy, but I really can't stand Rodak.
  15. So this is the reader's thread, do we really need to use spoiler tags? Makes for some difficult discussion. I'll do it this time, but... With regard to Jon's fate, the one thing we don't know yet is: The reason for the above is the Prologue to Book 5, which shows one of the wildlings doing that himself (except for the return part). Seemed like a strong foreshadowing. The only problem with this is that the TV show hasn't provided any hint the Jon could do this with Ghost, whereas in the book it seemed like a possibility.
  16. Regardless of how good this guy is, I want the Bills to sign him just to make Rodak look like the big ass that he is.
  17. One thing that confused me is that LF and Sansa were down in the crypts...below Winterfell? Are they already in Winterfell? I thought they were still at Moat Cailin? Who knows if killing off Barristan is something GRRM was planning or just the whim of the TV guys...especially since there is no Strong Belwas, and the storyline has already gone away from the books a bit.
