  1. Cool. I had heard about that location a little while back, and there was speculation if that was going to be the TOJ, or if it was supposed to be Casterly Rock. Also, looks like they will have some scenes in Oldtown. Very interesting. Hope GRRM comes out with the next book soon, or I may have to skip the next TV season.
  2. Nice reference. "The answer is almost never E. Good luck."
  3. Holy crap. That is a huge explosion. It's going to be a while before we know the extent of this.
  4. I thought we were supposed to hate him because he's fat.
  5. Bobby Chandler would be rolling in his grave if they did.
  6. For what it's worth, my brother-in-law is a Bears fan and season ticket holder, and I used to live in Chicago, so I've kept an eye on them over the years. Not that it means anything, but I remember watching Orton his first couple of years in the league, and I have to say, I remember thinking he was the worst QB I have ever seen play this game. Dude was just unwatchable. I have no idea how he managed to survive and make a long career of it, but man, he was just God-awful those first few years. EJ is light years ahead of where he was back then.
  7. Congrats! May your child grow up never knowing the experience of living through 15 years without a playoff appearance.
  8. "Guard play is great" in the context of "Buffalo Bills" is not a computable statement.
  9. Sal Maiorana @salmaiorana One thing I'm tired of hearing from NFL players - "the main thing is to have fun." For amateurs, yes. In the NFL, winning is main thing Sal Maiorana @salmaiorana EJ Manuel said that last night. I'm glad he had fun, meanwhile, the fans were aggravated he and the other QBs and the entire offense stunk Meanwhile, Aaron Williams on Rex: "He’s fun. He’s the best. You would never expect a head coach to be like that" Williams said. "He’s very loose but at the same time he’s serious and wants things to be done in a certain way. But he never makes a meeting a serious one. He’s always joking around. He wants us to have fun. He feels like if we’re not having fun, we’re not going to play a certain way or to a type of level he wants." - from Rex Ryan a big hit with Bills defense, WGR I wonder if Sal will take it up with Rex, or if it's just his ongoing thing for EJ?
  10. Does not compute.
  11. I have serious man love for Robey. Definitely one of my favorite players. LOVE hearing this.
  12. I guess that's the story of Bryce Brown's career. Impressive running interspersed with the occasional head-scratching fumble.
  13. No kidding? Where did you hear that about Max?
  14. Thanks, Mike! Great report. Glad to hear the offense is stepping it up, especially EJ.
  15. Nice job, thanks for the info.
  16. Many people outside Buffalo believe their defense is elite now, much like ours, and in addition they have a QB. So I can see that, even if I don't agree, and even if I think our offensive skill players (besides QB) are hands down better.
  17. Damn it, Astro, answer some questions already! ...I mean, great job, thanks!
  18. They may, I haven't heard that yet. But yes, you have a good one in Euron. Didn't think of that.
  19. Thanks! I think I might make the switch. Hard to argue with $3.85 a month.
  20. Although I doubt it matters to some, I think it bears reminding that training camp consists of 17 practices, and that doesn't include the 4 preseason games mixed in. Once training camp breaks on August 25, there are still two and a half weeks, two more preseason games, and who knows how many practices (12?) before the first actual regular season game (probably a couple dozen). Right now we're 4 practices in to that whole process. The time to judge is not now, people.
  21. Those of you who use Ooma, are you pretty happy with it? We still have a land line as well, mostly for the same reasons as Exiled. Nice to have a line that works when the power is out, but I can think of only one time when that was useful. It's also nice to have a number that we can give to businesses instead of our cell numbers. Now, of course, all we get are solicitations. I think my mother is the only one who calls that number. I'd gladly switch to Ooma if people are happy with it.
  22. Nice one. I was thinking Leif Larsen, personally.
  23. Actually, if I had to put money on it, I'd say McShane is going to play Randall Tarly. Not sure why, just because I think Tarly is a son-of-a-B word and McShane can play those pretty well. And yes, he had to finish those damn books now.
  24. WRT the last spoiler above:
