  1. Sweet! I am really looking forward to this.
  2. Boobie excels on special teams, which is a good reason to keep him around. He's also not that bad a runner, but it's also not the main reason he's around. I think Bryce's fumble issues are a concern, but not enough for me to say that we should bring him in while Shady is sidelined.
  3. True, it won't be devastating. But it's also a home game, and we really have to win those while we have them.
  4. The nice thing about this past Dolphins game is that it solidified the notion that you can't defend TT by keeping him in the pocket and forcing him to beat you. He'll beat you.
  5. I think the main flaw for Buffalo right now is still the offensive line. I wouldn't say it's a major flaw, but I'm not convinced yet that this is a line that can help get the yards when they're needed. The midsirection plays and Tyrod's feet help, but when it comes to straight-up run blocking I think they still have a ways to go. Then again, I've always believed that it takes the first month for an offensive line to really come together, and on top of that, Roman's blocking schemes are supposedly very complex, so I'm looking forward to seeing them get better as the year goes on.
  6. Yahoo believes "if anyone is going to stop the Patriots train in the AFC, it's the Bengals." Cincinnati Bengals, Super Bowl contenders
  7. Or during a game, for that matter. I wasn't feeling comfortable at all yesterday until Hogan's TD.
  8. Fantastic comment by some guy named RigmasTFT on that article.
  9. Maybe Chan will come back after he gets canned in New Jersey.
  10. The Cowboys were a popular pick for division champs and going deep into the playoffs. The Giants went into Dallas for the opener and handled them pretty well. One bad decision away from beating the Cowboys in their home stadium on national TV. I can see why they would think this is an easier, or at least similar, task. And I agree, I think they can definitely beat us in this one. I'm worried, especially if we don't have Sammy or Shady.
  11. I saw that, and I was equally impressed. I thought for a second I must have missed his other hand, but nope.
  12. I don't get why some are so confident against the Giants. They handled Dallas in the opener on the road, and are just a few bad decisions away from being 3-0 right now. This will be a tough game.
  13. I can only think of two he'd probably want to have back. One was a high throw early in the game that was tipped and almost intercepted; the other was the overthrow to the left to Clay that would have been a nice 15-20 yarder. Really, not much else I can think of. The thing I like watching him is how totally comfortable he seems, at least when not pressured. Even when pressured, he seems under control. I also like how effortless it seems he can flick the ball way downfield.
  14. This is the first time in years that I feel like I almost expect a first down when it's 3rd-and-long. God I can't stand that ass.
  15. I'm surprised we aren't seeing the kind of play where Taylor fakes the handoff and bootlegs to one side with a TE out in front, giving him the option of throwing or running. Seems like it would be almost unstoppable with Taylor as QB.
  16. This promises to be a fun ride.
  17. If you don't think "they can have him back as far as I'm concerned" is not a conclusion, then I don't know what to tell you. Judging the overall return on a player investment after two games is not a conclusion? Sure, got ya. Just the "facts" after two games.
  18. I think the quality of our offensive line play this week will dictate the outcome of this one...
  19. I'm glad you've concluded all of that after two games. Well done.
  20. Jags got 123 against them on Sunday. I also like that the Fins only had 42 yards rushing themselves.
  21. Have there been new rumors or stories on this?
  22. Hmm, I never thought of it that way, with the chance of losing a point if you don't make it. I like that idea.
  23. I noticed on Carpenter's miss that the ball was snapped from the left hashmark. Later in the game, after another Bills TD, it was the same thing. Earlier, I had noticed that the Pats*** were kicking their XP from the middle of the field. What's the rule on this? I thought every XP would be snapped from the middle of the field, as always.
  24. There is virtually no chance the Bills will win this one. Why? Because everybody outside of NE wants us to crush them so very badly. Because the Bills deserve to win, because good should always defeat evil, and the Pats*** are as evil as they come. But as George R. R. Martin tells us, “There are no heroes...in life, the monsters win.”
