  1. Sorry if this was asked elsewhere and I missed it... When the Bills took over for the final drive, there was the pass to Woods which came close to a first down. It was called a first down on the field. I was livid because the Bills seemed like they were milling around rather than getting ready to snap the ball quickly, but after more than 10-12 seconds ran off the clock, there was a stoppage so the refs could review the play to see if he really got the first down, and it was reversed. However, we didn't get any of that time back. Why is that? It seems like if the refs want to review a play, they should decide right away, or if they don't, at least put the time back on the clock to the end of the previous play. Were we penalized because the refs took that long to decide that they wanted to review the spot/first down call?
  2. 1. I learned that Edelman and Lewis really are that important to the Pats***. I had my doubts. I thought they would be fine with Gronk and Amendola and the others, but it was clear even before Amendola went out that they were struggling. If Amendola is out for any significant period of time, they are in some trouble. 2. I learned that the Pats*** offensive line is a bigger problem than I realized. Again, I had my doubts. I didn't think the Bills DL would dominate they way they did, which is kinda sad to say, actually. The Broncos defense must be licking their chops. 3. I love McKelvin's heart, but I learned he should never return another punt again. It's been said enough times already. Problem is, I don't know who should. Definitely not Moore. Maybe Woods? 4. I learned that Hogan is actually pretty good as a third receiver. I just wish he would fall forward instead of sideways when he has the ball. 5. Speaking of sideways, the power sweep for the TD was a thing of beauty. However, I learned that someone actually has to tell our offensive coordinator that it's a bad idea to run sideways on a power sweep when all you need is six inches straight ahead. 6. I learned once and for all that we absolutely have to re-sign Glenn, after learning once and for all that Seantrel Henderson is a huge liability. I had my suspicions that we might let Glenn walk and move Seantrel over to the left side and let Kujo take over on the right. Please, don't do it. 7. I learned that I no longer understand anything about NFL rules.
  3. Kevin @KevinMassare The Bills are 89% likely to make the playoffs if they can beat NE/KC next week. Crazy stat according to Sports Club Stats.
  4. Personally, I see us playing a perfect first half and go up on them by 21. Then in the second half, with a chance to go up even more, we commit a critical turnover, and the Pats*** turn around and score, which leads to a snowballing series of second half failures until the Pats*** take the lead with less than two minutes left. Then, with one last chance, the Bills offense turns into the Three Stooges and can't get a single first down to lose it. Whew, that feels better.
  5. I wish there was a way we could take away Brady.
  6. I am nearly at that point myself. Shame, because I do want to support the business.
  7. Have to give him credit for the two SB wins over Belicheck, but I may never get over the Bledsoe "naked bootleg" call that basically lost the game against the Pats***. Quite possibly the worst play call I have ever seen in my life.
  8. The Pats*** offense did just fine last week without Edelman or Lewis.
  9. Of course, the Pats*** are the #2 passing offense...
  10. I always thought of her as "Nicole Kidman lite".
  11. In other news, we're the #2 rushing offense in the league right now.
  12. Those were not the words of a happy man.
  13. Sitting in the #6 spot with 7 games to play, the Bills are in position to control their own destiny and capture a playoff spot. We all know how that's turned out before, but will 2015 somehow be different? I think most of us would agree the next three games will probably determine the Bills fate. Maybe not so much the Pats*** game, but certainly the KC and Houston games. It's time to put up or shut up. So, what do you think will happen? Where will the Bills be sitting at the end of the day on December 6th?
  14. Enjoy it while ya got it. Next week will be very different.
  15. Amazing how we keep getting sucked back into it like this.
  16. The dropped INT was even worse since there was a Giants player right behind him that could have made the catch with ease.
  17. I will always want to Pats*** to lose, every week, no matter what. All I care about right now is if this defense of ours can figure out a way to stop Gronk, screen passes, swing passes to RBs, and generally anything quick-release.
  18. Same here, brother.
  19. He tries to do too much by himself with his feet, and it gets him in trouble sometimes. But overall, a pretty good performance on the road against a top defense.
  20. He was a huge reason we were able to put it away at the end. Impressive performance against a top defense.
  21. Great to have you back at full strength, Bill. One big positive from this game is how we actually ran the ball against the #1 run defense late in the fourth when we needed it. Been a long time for that.
  22. We'll see against a top flight run defense. If we can't establish any kind of running game against the Jets, it will be tough going. TT might be able to open things up with his feet, but I'm not confident about that in this one.
  23. Excellent post. I also like the tip of the cap there to Larry Felser, if I'm not mistaken.
