  1. ...aaaand you guess it, we're #2 on the list: Pete Prisco says we're doomed because Tyrod sucks.
  2. Weather.com is saying high of 69 with 20% chance of showers.
  3. That was great. All I can say is, I am so glad we have Pegula and not Irsay.
  4. I remember that hit as well. One of the best hits I can recall, especially because it's Brady. The one I always wanted a good recording or picture of was the one from the 15-1 Super Bowl, when the Pats** were on their last, desperate drive with seconds left. Brady got absolutely hammered by somebody on the Giants...I'm surprised he didn't get the wind knocked out of him it was so solid.
  5. I know a lot of people don't like him for many reasons, but I think he's a good reporter. On the other hand, I'm very tired of his Twitter antics. He seems to enjoy baiting the trolls and engaging them in childish dialogue, and spends quite a bit of time doing it. It's tiresome.
  6. I'll be there! I'll be the guy in the Dan Carpenter jersey. The only one, I imagine. Unless he gets cut. Then, maybe not.
  7. I can't wait for the Sullivan/Gleason article complaining about how the IK move was such a waste of time and effort.
  8. ProFootballTalk @ProFootballTalk Broncos cut quarterback Zac Dysert among others to get roster down to 79 wp.me/p14QSB-9Q0q
  9. Let's face it, we can't really afford to have our backup RB not play special teams. All the others do. But man, does this suck.
  10. Horrible day for him and for Bills fans. I so wanted to see Freddie in a playoff game at the Ralph. But I do understand the move. Aside from the fumble, of course, Bryce has looked really good this year. Sad day, though.
  11. Well, okay, maybe that's a bit much. But definitely stronger than Pittsburgh. I mean, they finished 11th in the league last year in yards allowed, and 2nd in the league in 3rd down percentage. Last year, they allowed only a single third-down conversion over a four game stretch, which is the longest in NFL history. I mean, that's not too bad.
  12. No pun intended, but if he's that good, that is a huge pickup for this defense.
  13. What # is he? I remember seeing a lot of Corbin Bryant in that game, seemed like he was playing like a man. I don't recall paying much attention to the other Bryant, though.
  14. It's almost a shame that PIT's defense is so horrid, because now our expectations from these QBs is so high it's bound to be a disappointment when the season starts and they have to play against a real defense. The Colts have a strong D and it's going to be a wakeup call once we no longer see big plays and TDs every drive. I would have preferred to see how these QBs respond under pressure against a good defense. That's how to separate them.
  15. Carucci agrees...he says don't be shocked if Cassel is the starter.
  16. Man, if there's one thing you can say about this, it's really !@#$ed with a lot of people's heads. This is kinda fun.
  17. Except for the fact that TT made a critical mistake and took a sack instead of throwing it away, which led directly to the missed FG.
  18. It's all about the rings. Unfortunately wedding rings, not Super Bowl rings.
  19. So is everyone prepared to say that a strong showing by EJ on Saturday may lock up the starting QB job? Seemed that way for TT if he had started.
  20. Not trying to promote EJ over TT, but I think EJ took a lot of criticism previously for not knowing what to do with the ball, which resulted in injuries and setbacks. I'm seeing similar behavior from TT. A lot of it can be chalked up to inexperience, but the way TT plays, he'd better learn that quick or he's going to be another casualty.
