A bit bigger complaints for me. I'm a big fan of the books, but I actually started watching the show before reading the books, so I've been back and forth. But I've found, as the show went on, that whenever the show started deviating from or going beyond the books, the plot lines and dialogue have suffered greatly for the most part. Once the show doesn't have GRRM's content to go from, they really seem to do a poor job of it IMO. Dorne is the best example, but I'm really not that impressed with many others. I didn't think the opener was all that great, actually.

Well, if nothing else, it would allow us to feel a little bit what it's like to be a Super Bowl winner.

So if Denver trades up with us for that pick, what would we most likely get in return?

I found that story really interesting. I always only knew little snippets of the story, never the whole picture. I've never been a big Bucky fan, but he did a pretty nice job there. I agree with you there. The story painted Brown in a much harsher light than Snyder, which Bucky confirms here: A meeting with Snyder results in a change of perspective I thought the same thing!

I can't even remember how many times this has happened. That was a bad one, we all knew we would take him if Pittsburgh didn't. Damn.

I think he meant Roethlisberger is not [a smallish QB who runs a lot], as opposed to [a smallish QB] who runs a lot. I don't think anybody would say Roethlisberger runs a lot.

Referring to Roethlisberger. Edit: Hooray! 10,000th post...

So...just because you have a smallish QB who runs a lot doesn't mean he's necessarily more prone to injury than a big, strong, non-mobile QB.

Actually, I think Brady has taken a number of hits, especially this past season. He does seem to have a remarkable ability to not get injured from these hits, though. He's a pretty big guy and he seems to just absorb big hits. Eventually it will take a toll, though. I think he's benefitting from not taking a lot of hits earlier in his career.

Wow, that was awesome. Really didn't think they had a chance. Didn't get to turn it on until midway through the 2nd half, and it was all up from there. That was some pretty awesome press defense and clutch shooting. 25-4 run to end the game? Ridiculous!

I've been wondering that as well...
