San Fran is at #31, giving up an average of 146.8 yards per game on the ground.
Miami is at #32, giving up an average of 150.8 yards per game on the ground.
Those are yuuuuuge numbers, and it plays right into the Bills' strength.
Will they be able to take advantage?
I don't know, man...like John said, it would have been nice to see a shot or two at the end zone, but how can you argue with a 10-play, 70-yard drive to milk the clock and get points? That's almost textbook, I would say.
Don't forget the difference between gross punting yards and net punting yards. The latter takes into account punt return yards, touchbacks, etc.
A net average of 40 over an entire season has been the ultimate goal of most punters, up until the last couple of years. There have been several to achieve that recently, which is new.
Hard to believe, but a Kolache place just opened up at the end of my block, in Salt Lake City of all places. Friggin crazy. They sell out every day by 11:30AM.
I actually had a dream last night that the Bills shut out the Patriots. No kidding. I didn't think it was prophetic or anything, I pretty much ignored it, but it started to feel a little weird toward the end of the game.
My impression of the Goodwin route is that Peterson gave him a stiff arm early in the route, which basically completely threw off his running, probably because he's so light. I don't know if he gave up on it, but there was no way he was going to catch Peterson at that point.
Sam Monson @PFF_Sam Aaron Donald leads the entire league with 17 total pressures...yet to notch a sack.
Sam DeFilipps @SDeFilipps @PFF_Sam How many pressures does Jerry Hughes have ?
Sam Monson @PFF_Sam 16
Not bad considering he hasn't had Mario or Dareus attracting attention away from him...
Phenomenal work!
Honestly, I can't believe there are people on here with over 10,000 posts who still get baited into these threads. Crayonz/4mer is a master at it.
No chance to kneel at the 1. He'd have been kneeling in the end zone for a safety.
I couldn't believe they didn't do a QB sneak on the first play. I can't really be too angry at the handoff, but I'm more angry at the fact that the O-line did a pretty lousy job with their backs against the wall.
