  1. Not sure why, but I'd love seeing Gilliam get some snaps on offense.
  2. I read somewhere that it was the same as last year: she watched from the privacy of a dark SUV on the side.
  3. Yeah, the idea is that they want to offer you seats that are as close to what you currently have as possible. So for me, that would be club seats. If I don't want to pay for clubs, then I'll have to get back in line for when they start offering non-club seats, wherever those are (that are left).
  4. Love my seats, I'll miss them. Bills side, section 133, row 35, seats 18-19, so about the 47-yard line. Seniority since 1977. Sounds like they will offer me a chance at similar seats in what is now the Club section, and if I don't want those, I'll have to come back at a later date to pick something that is non-Club.
  5. Finally heard from my rep last week, told me I’d be getting an email next week with my appointment date. Should be the week of August 5th, he said. I’ll know more next week.
  6. I agree with this. My take: one of the benefits that it seems Diggs afforded us was that Dorsey didn't always have to successfully scheme guys open; Diggs was so good at getting open that it covered up when the schemes weren't great or didn't work. Now we're going to have to rely on Brady to put together some really sound schemes for these guys to execute. I've always believed good schemes with technicallly sound WRs will consistently get guys open, even those who aren't superstars. We seem to have that now. Will Brady get the job done? I think the second half of last year was promising in that regard.
  7. It definitely changes as you get older. The stadium experience is completely awesome...but it's also easy to complain about. It takes up most of a day, there's all the prep for tailgating, the walking to and from the stadium, the traffic, and on top of all of that, the weather. Once you reach a certain age, the weather makes a huge difference. I can deal with all of that a couple of times in a season, max. I also tend to freak out too much during close or tense games, so it's easier to watch on TV, where I can switch off of it if I have to. I never used to do that. When I was younger, my dad eventually could no longer watch tense games, it was too much for him. I thought that was crazy. Now here I am, older than he ever was, and I get the same way sometimes.
  8. Yeah, I wasn't implying that you were taking that position, just countering the position itself.
  9. I mean, I generally agree with the sentiment here, but I still find it amazing that, on a regular basis, you hear about teams/GMs who are elbows deep in this ***** 24/7/365 who go out and draft a player, trade for a player, and/or hand out a contract to a player that just makes you go, "WTF were they thinking????"
  10. Thanks man, I really appreciate that.
  11. Man, it really chafes my ass that we've had this unicorn for so many years already and not even one Super Bowl appearance, much less a victory.
  12. Same here, man. Same here.
  13. "You're so good you made a guy change his name." 🤣🤣🤣
  14. Man, I remember watching this game in my living room in college. The guys who lived right below us were Jets fans, and I made a lot of noise that night. Didn't recall how little they ran Thurman in the first half. It was all Mueller and Harmon. Fun fact, early in the broadcast there was an ad for a cereal called Fruitful Bran, which had the actor who played Joey in Friends.
  15. 133 Yeah, I get that, but I'm going to be traveling a lot the next couple of months and I get the impression that if I want the best seats available, it's better to schedule as early as they'll allow. So if I'm out of town, maybe it would be better just to do it virtually and grab what I can. Meanwhile, my rep called me today and confirmed that I could do it virtually if I wanted. Hopefully it won't matter.
  16. Great seats. Bills side, row 35, seats 18-19, so about the 47-yard line. Seniority since 1977. Sounds like they will offer me a chance at similar seats in what is now the Club section, and if I don't want those, I'd have to come back at a later date to pick something that is non-Club.
  17. Thanks. I thought I had heard they might accommodate virtual visits, but wasn't sure.
  18. Hey...just got an email from my Bills season ticket rep, who said I'm going to be getting the call soon to come down and check out the Experience. I have a couple questions I was hoping some of you here may have the answers to: How much lead time do they usually give? Like, when I hear about my scheduled date, will it probably be that next weekend, a couple weeks from then, a month from then? Is there a virtual option, or am I required to be there in person? Can I have a family member (eg, cousin) attend in person in my place, or does it need to be me? Thanks...
  19. Here's Morgan, Schoen, and Beane, three once-Bills GMs, talking about trading up to 6 in the draft while at the Senior Bowl.
  20. I'd probably stipulate that each team's "worst-case scenario" should exclude the obvious possibility of losing the team's best player (eg, QB) to a season-ending injury early in the season. That's just too easy.
  21. One player I hope all the rest of you are wrong about is Tyler Bass. I still think he will get back to form, but it sure feels like a lot of folks here have already given up on him.
  22. The new Elden Ring expansion comes out today. That'll keep me busy for a loooooooong time.
  23. Probably should have just stopped there...
