The pace is brutal. Everyone I talked to today commented on it. Not too mention the alert that the pick is in, yet it's 2-3 minutes before it's announced. The drama of when the pick alert came up followed by the commish walking out seems to be ruined his year.

I would be very surprised if Petty went to the Bills. Tyrod is better than most expect. Kubiak wanted him in Denver. Bills will focus on the OL and D in this draft.

I have a strong feeling that Spikes will be back next year. He was a huge contributor as a leader on the defensive squad last year. It's hard to measure what he brought to the team, but if I had to put my money down he will be a Bill next year.

Absolutely. Every pick. I've been waiting for any NFL news.. the draft is the next step before the long gap before training camp. It helps if you're in fantasy leagues, it forces you to have abit more interest in teams and players.

I read this article about how the NFL creates the schedule and found this hilarious. http://operations.nfl.com/the-game/creating-the-nfl-schedule The league tries to avoid scheduling teams that play on the road on Monday nights with an away game the following week to avoid having two road games separated by a short week. Right after reading it I had to check the schedule, as surely they wouldn't have us on the road following our Monday game against NE. Yupp, on the road again in Kansas City. I don't have the time right now, but I'd love to see how many other teams got the same scenario that they 'try' to avoid..

The impression I received from that interview was that Spikes felt like there wasn't an option for him to return to Buffalo. Almost likes he wishes he could - but has already been informed otherwise.
