  1. What is the over-under on a staged nipslip to show off her new work ? Conservatively, I'd say Halloween. .
  2. Gwinnett Mom best stay out of Gospels as well, never mind the Old Testament... .
  3. Prescient Mel Gibson freakout... and Robert Smith saving the world from Mecha-Streisand. I mean, Robert Smith !?! of all people, WTF ? South Park is Dennis Miller for the underwhelmed. .
  4. More texture on that point -- time of possession has increased in four successive weeks : 27:05... 30:59... 33:13... 35:57. This O may prove to be greater than the sum of it's parts. .
  5. Yup. Coker stepped into the machine that Davis built. That rookie championship and the championship game the following year were as much Davis' as his. They would be nuts not to consider the move. .
  6. Light a candle for all of the aging party girls (St. Jude or St. Genisius), especially Tara. May she find her way to that sitcom, or movie role or nipple slip that makes one relevant in Hollywood today. There appears to be no patron saint for either train wrecks or Mexico City Wal-Mart quality breast enhancement. This saddens me. .
  7. As I said last week : expect the unexpected. So I guess the Bills find a way to win without ripping the Bear's secondary apart. A couple of turnovers and six field goals maybe... .
  8. Not only did they say it was his second year, the graphic gave his record -- 6 and 13. Not a slip of the tongue or simple mistake... very serious bad voodoo. Let us hope it is not predestination. .
  9. Umm... as good as these are (Agent Smith and Kelsey Grammar, whooda' thunk ?), they pale in comparison to our own Lurch, Hacksaw Duggan, and Admiral Ackbar. Kudos to those Vike fans for the inspiration. .
  10. Further, they host the Bills, go to Arizona, host San Francisco, then host Miami. If the Bills don't win this week, Da' Bears go 8-0. That won't happen. Therefore the Bills are certain to win. .
  11. I don't understand. Do I need the NFL network to see a timely, first class highlight show ? The Football Night in America concept is not growing on me. Lounging around ? Jimmy the Greek and Irv Cross didn't get to lounge around. They probably wanted to but they were professional, dammit...
  12. He brought pics ! Excellent Biker pics ! Thanks for the visit ! .
  13. There was one late pickup Willis made right in his QB's lap. Losman threw a gawky incompletion stepping backwards when he didn't have to -- he was untouched. Very impressive work by Willis. As the weeks go on the comfort level should increase back there. Good times ahead. .
  14. He actually did move towards it but veered away, touching the catcher down as he passed him. He looked scared (of being hit low) and confused. I am still willing to give him points for being clever. And this happened in the Miami game as well ? On a deeper kick ? I will have to dig that up. Bobby April should be a topic every week. .
  15. O. K., Tubbo may have looked like he was shielding the sun from his eyes, but it is not inconcievable that it was a coached move. Donahue called for it immediately in the booth -- it might be automatic for a decent special teamer. And if there is a link to THAT play, I fear for the future of mankind. .
  16. I'll trot my pet theory out here as well. It is not the lack of a "killer instinct" but the overall gameplan that makes for nervous fourth quarters. They play like a team that WANTS to keep the game close. At some point they will get it into their heads that when they are going good they should push their advantage. Close games are great if you don't think you measure up. This team might want to put that idea aside. .
  17. I had the sickly feeling that the Vikes HAD something for Whitner -- a look, a wrinkle that they were saving for money time. There was a huge drop by Robinson(?) late that looked a lot like the earlier touchdown play. I'll catch it on the 1AM replay (and clutch at my chest one more time). And wasn't Ellison supposed to be undersized, allowing him to drop to a team that valued the small and fast ? As near as I can tell, 6'1 235'ish is not much different than the Hawk/Sims/Greenaway's that went at the top of the draft at outside linebacker. Spikes isn't even much bigger -- though he seems to play bigger, if that makes any sense. .
  18. Moderator's Warning ? What crime did BuffaloSixPack commit ? .
  19. And they were life and death to win it. The J.P. "game management" era is going to wear me out. They are playing road games at home.
  20. It is an interesting projection just the same. A quarter season... bears witness to how conservative the Jauron era might be. They played all four like they wanted to and could have won all four. .
  21. 12 and 4 is a Warren Moon on the disabled list in week six type number. It has never been put up by any quarterback at any time in history. It is not even a Bob Griese/Bart Starr old timey number. Four interceptions in one game is more likely ( I just punched myself in the head for saying it). .
  22. Tom Modrak's players. Tom Modrak. Who is this TD ? Seriously, Marv spotted talent in his own front office. It almost never goes down that way when the new boss takes over. .
  23. He can make all the plays, all of the throws, wind be damned. Forget this progress foolishness and just run your playbook, Mr. Fairchild. Fun times ahead. .
  24. Not bad, but WEIRD. 12 and 4 is impossible. They better let him off the leash or they'll keep struggling teams IN games for too long. And give me 12 more weekends of chest pains. .
  25. C'mon Donahue didn't suck, he was ordinary. That is a step above most weeks. In theory, he is a bright guy ( AD at UCLA, successor to Walsh in San Fran) but where did he come from, broadcasting-wise ? He sounded like Barry Switzer at times... .
