    Confusion. Rage. Depression. Might as well throw "Elephant" on the list. "The Jack Bull" is maybe a left field choice but it had a bad effect on me.

    Very nice for the Bills. Miami gives up a home game to play in a pro Giant situation. While not likely to generate hooligan level hostility, it's still not a Dolphin friendly game.

    Disagreeable football talk is still football talk. In retrospect, year round football was a unique format (and very Buffalo IMO). Similar to what you might get only in Oklahoma or Nebraska these days.

    Not so much; Jimmy Johnson made comments to that effect questioning Jones appreciation of the Head Coach's contribution when he left the job. Was it really just a glorified CEO position ? (And that sort of thing)... You'd think the Switzer, Gailey, Campo devolution would beat that out of him, but you never do know. .

    Isn't it possible that HE has hired HIS offensive coordinator ? That Jerry Jones might just have to step in and coach the team himself if this self made mess requires a one year solution ? Money, ego and lunacy make this at least an outside shot. .

    A good sign IMHO. Buffalo should be a place that football people look at (without giggling). .

    Now there's another visual image (among many, most in pass coverage) of Coy Wire I can do without. He does so many things almost well that I can't imagine this Bills team without him. The post 2000 Bills won't be the Donahoe era or the transition years, they will be the Coy Wire years. I hope the misfit toy sticks around for the good times to come. .

    That's the same thing I asked when the Vikings had their worst year under Dennis Green in 1995 (his only playoff miss there ?) because of a lack of defense. Tony Dungy was the coordinater and still got the Tampa Bay job. Quality can be identified. .

    For all the talk of Notre Dame being a natural fit for Big Ten membership, they really are a Pac 10 team. Clever, soft, undertalented... can the campus be relocated ? .

    Me too. I was indifferent until I heard a fan on the Fan660 overnight say to Tony Page that Manning HAD TO GO, and that Coughlin was finished. When asked to pick the game he goes " my heart says the Giants ". I know these people. I am these people. .

    I am almost surprised that he was worth every penny of his current contract. His effort was wasted during this dark era of Bills football and now he is 32 in addition to being undersized. I will be pulling for my favorite Bill to cash in elsewhere. Expect another defense heavy draft from Marv. .

    Unfortunately Buffalo. Missed opportunities, both early and late in the season. Now they start over again with ten more changes. .
