  1. QB - position's too important to ignore if you don't have a franchise player. WR - We have no #1 receiver on this team. DB - Our secondary got absolutely toasted today TE - a need, but not most important if you have a franchise QB (which we don't at the moment). Kiko's a beast. Probably the best defender on our team. Give him 1-2 years and his neck will be bigger than your thigh.
  2. 1st round pick's gonna be a DB. Mark it in stone.
  3. True. A monster of a game. Would be world's better if he has a QB throwing to him.
  4. How ridiculous is Foles? And this is a guy that probably could have been had by teams in the offseason. I don't throw this out lightly, but I don't think another team has a better MVP. This team was garbage before he took the helm.
  5. I think he must've done something non-football related to deserve this benching. He hadn't been playing any worse today than any other Sunday. If you're frustrated by that level of play, fine, let him finish the game and you bench him Monday morning. But to bench him after throwing one pick? Where has Rex been the whole season? It's way too early to tell. QBs tend to have a sophomore slump after teams have a whole year of film on them. The good ones overcome this their 3rd year. Same will go for Luck, RG3, and Kaepernick. Wilson's just phenomenal.
  6. I think a draft pick would be a bit too much, but certainly a $100,000 fine would see justice served. Or, a one game suspension. Whatever is more money forfeited.
  7. This problem could have had a simple resolution: the runner should've plowed right into him, even if he had to drift a foot out of bounds to get him. A couple days in the hospital would've taught him a lesson.
  8. He's a great player, no doubt, but there will be players available of his caliber that pose less of a risk. By this, I mean, players who regularly played against better teams and better OLs. That's not to say KM is less of a player, but some GMs may be scared of his pedigree and play it safe with someone from a tougher division. If that's the case and he falls to the Bills, than that's great for us.
  9. Does anyone think this dude could've been a poster on here? Anyone see Crayonz lately?
  10. He certain looks like the real deal. NFL defenses are learning to neutralize the read option QB, but the legit pocket passer is not a fad and likely will continue to win into the future.
  11. Still, at the end of the day, they're still average dudes selling beer at a ball game to make ends meet, not the TSA. You add sale incentives, which I'm not sure they have, and the house of cards falls down.
  12. Anyway, I'm glad things worked out the way they did. Another trade could've change the whole dynamic of the rest of the 1st round, perhaps even impacting the way players were picked in the 2nd. Heck, we could've ended up packaging our 2nds to jump back into the 1st and then perhaps no Kiko, who may end up being our best pick in the 2013 draft.
  13. This ranking should come as no surprise as this was how Detroit's STs were doing last year. Crossman did not have a shinning resume, far from it.
  14. It is very prudent. Either this year, or next year, I would expect the Bills to pick a RB in the 1st or 2nd round. FredEx likely only has 1-2 seasons left in him, God love him. We do have Spiller signed through 2015, so maybe next draft is the best time to pull the trigger. I really don't see a position of need on this team that deserves a 1st round pick, besides TE. Perhaps an OLB, but our D is only going to better next year, even with the same personnel. DE? Mario is likely going to be gone after next season, so perhaps draft his replacement now.
  15. I've thought about that. Just raise the prices of beer and that would cut down on the drunken stupidity while at the same time potentially increase profits. As for structurally training the sellers on trying to identify people who've had too much, I think that's asking too much. Many of these sellers are making minimum wage and have less than a little education. At games, there are even sober people acting drunk. It would be too hard for them to gauge drunkeness and sell at the same time. Their pay may even be a function of how many beers they sell. Plus, there are hundreds of them. If one doesn't sell, another one will. Or, people will just get their buddies to buy them beer. Well, if that's true, then that's really a problem. If fans are witnessing this, then so should security.
  16. But these people are "experts" that are paid to do so. If we shouldn't expect them to "predict the future", then they should not be trying to do so under the guise of a profession. That said, I guess we're to blame for actually listening to these people and acting like they are doing a better job than any of us could. It's like people going to fortune tellers and getting upset their fortunes don't come true. Who's really to blame here?
  17. This draft may be a great time to draft Spiller's replacement. A guy who can grow older with EJ and Woods. I'm not saying Spiller doesn't have elite talent, as he does, but I just don't see the Bills paying elite money to a guy who hasn't shown to be an every down back.
  18. I hope he's ok too, but what could have been done by the Bills, in a practical sense, to prevent this? This guy went above and beyond stupidity. Plus, I respect how you left the Kiko autographed jersey out of this. It could have healing powers.
  19. It seems like this idiot picked the wrong guy to land on. Can't say I wouldn't sue either, but lawsuits seldom undue an event. If I were the Bills, I would pony up season tickets for life for this guy real quick, plus have Kiko sign him a football or jersey or some other keepsake. Still, I see little way the Bills could have prevented fan idiocy, short of banning alcohol at the stadium. You can't expect the beer guys and stands to be able to single out an overly inebriated fan at a game. It's not like a bar where there's less people and limited servers.
