  1. This is a nonissue. They can give him a nerve block before a game and he'll be golden.
  2. It should cost Whaley his job. In fact, if they don't win more than 7 games this year, he should be toast as he had the opportunity to upgrade our QB position this draft (as well as next year's draft) and he failed to do so. But if Whaley goes down, by default Marrone will go down too.
  3. So are you defending Brady or criticizing him? All I know, love him or hate him, Brady will get the benefit of the doubt 99 times out of a hundred. Brady with Watkins and Wood would destroy this division.
  4. Why are we referring to him as a rookie? And if it's because he was injured more last season than not, isn't that then cause for alarm? Maybe, just maybe, because Brady is one if the best QBs to ever play the game and EJ has done absolutely nothing in this league (but get injured)? I may be way off though.
  5. Is it time to throw out the "it's just preseason" excuse? I'm thinking Whaley's decision to trade away next year's first is what's going to sink his ship.
  6. I'm inclined to believe this report. TG sounds awful confident here. And JK is seeming fairly desperate in latching onto a bid here. I wonder if Jimbo has signed a NDA because doesn't it forbid people from discussing the bid with other bidders? I know JBJ must've signed it. And is it normal for these sales to develop into a circus-like atmosphere?
  7. That's an awful lot of writing, with few concrete facts. He kept the team profitable? Do you understand the crisis that occurring right now to keep the team in Buffalo? This area bleeds red white and blue and is probably the single most highlight of the area. Keeping the Bills profitable was like keeping a liquor store profitable in a town of alcoholics. As for the Toronto plan, sure it made them extra cash, but it also alienated fans in Buffalo. You couldn't read one positive post on here about it. But, you know what? We still didn't care at the end of the day and still filled the seats. And you want to credit that to Brandon? Unlike a great football man, great guy or not, he's replaceable. No, people have not listed things he has done. Maybe I missed them. Quote them for me. As for the lease thing, got a link for this? Otherwise it's just here say. Any other details on what he has done that some other suit couldn't do? Just because we don't want him part of the team doesn't mean we "hate" him. I don't even know the guy, but I know he was hand picked by a franchise that hasn't been to the playoffs in forever. If EJ doesn't pan out, which is a real possibility, would you still argue he should stay? Even if he supposedly has nothing to do with football decisions? The world isn't black and white, so I'm sure he has done some good things, but does this automatically give him a free pass? And don't forget, over the last 2 decades, the Bills FO has to be in the top 5 of dysfunctional FOs in the NFL and he has played a major role for it.
  8. I have a wild and crazy idea. Why don't they sign him to an extension right now before he has a big year? Is that too much to ask? But if him and his agent want nothing to do with that, then he really doesn't see himself here and he can go.
  9. People keep saying Brandon has done a great job, but at what? I seen a lot of hand waving, but few concrete details. In terms of marketing, isn't he basically just preaching to the choir here? And don't forget his baby was the Toronto games, and we all know how that went. I do respect him for pulling out of it, but I think that probably had more to do with foresight into Ralph's state of health. Anyways, let's not forget Brandon's the biggest cronie of them all (right up there with Littman). He had his chance to put his fingerprint on the franchise, but he chose the status quo instead. If the Bills don't have a winning season, they're likely all gone.
  10. I think what we're seeing there are the Zubaz. And only the Zubaz. Pretty much the only way female Zubaz should be worn. Seems like the perfect Valentine's Day present. Or for her Anniversary.
  11. I think this is fairly accurate. For those who follow the Sabres closely, you know that Pegula made many significant additions to their FO when he bought the team. Some of these "executives" are head-scratchers. Joe Battista, for example, likely a favor returned to someone, had no real NHL experience. Pegula will definitely install some of his "own people". Whether Russ and Whaley want to play along is another story. This is one rumor why Pat LaFontaine bailed. Thinking Pegula would choose to run the Bills differently is naive.
  12. Ummm, Leif Larsen? That's Viking representation.
  13. Well, at least we now know the identity of NeverGiveUp.
  14. Wouldn't "getting the arms down" constitute holding? Wouldn't they physically have to bring these arms down by grabbing them and pulling them down?
  15. Are you saying all first-teamers should basically mail in all training camp and their preseason games?
  16. This is actually incredibly fascinating. Puts a whole new spin on the complexity of the gut microbiome.
  17. Not quite. You and I can openly talk about Cordy's health problems as we are in no way connected to Cordy's healthcare. We could broadcast it from roofs and not be in violation of HIPAA. That said, Cordy is the only person who can legally reveal his health problem. Here: http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/hipaa/administrative/privacyrule/ That said, it's likely best for his employer and his fellow employees to keep their mouths' shut.
  18. I'm certainly OK with vets beating out rookie OLs and the DL that lead the league in sacks last season embarrassing them, it should be expected. But to cut one during their rookie preseason would be a huge mistake.
  19. What ever happened to him wanting to retire? Guess that was code for "hold-out".
  20. I'm pretty sure Kiko's a universal donor, so take one out of him. And, besides, Kiko can grow another one back anyhow.
  21. I don't understand. We are saying the same thing. What exactly did I say that was "way off"? If you work for a pharmacy, you are considered a healthcare worker caring for a patient. You are directly involved in that patient's care. Same for the health insurance company clerk paying your claim. Lay people, not involved in a patient's care in any way, can talk away all they want. No HIPAA violation. Correct. But there doesn't have to be a HIPAA violation. Cordy could have told his sister, who told her best friend, who told their nephew, etc... In this case, no HIPAA violation occurred.
