    I don't think any NFL teams wants this kind of mentality on their team. He quit before he even tried, especially strange in a league filled with teams clamoring for a decent QB. Glad we didn't get him.

    I'm just upset we signed him for 1 year. So, basically, if he has a great season, he's one and done because we won't be able to sign him. We've got Dareus to sign next year.

    It looks like we are building a team where it doesn't matter who the QB is. We're going to run it down the opposing team's throat, then we'll dump it off to great receivers when they stack the line. Even EJ can dump it off to an open Sammy. We're certainly not gong to rely on passing to win games though. It could work, it has in Seattle.

    Does cap room to sign draft picks even mean anything even more? Due to the new CBA, it's incredibly predictable and really not that much. Shouldn't be an issue, especially with no 1st round pick.

    I can't believe why a player wouldn't wait until the last possible second to sign. The offer could only go up. They are rarely taken off the table.

    Pretty sure this will get swept under the rug. In fact, I'm 100% sure some "rogue" scrub patsie (no pun intended) will end up taking the blame and that will be that. The NFL can't afford handing out punishment to their current Superbowl champs.

    Now that McCown has signed with the Browns, no doubt we will be cutting EJ. QB? Who needs a QB when you'll be running a power running game (without a legit RB)?

    Leroi, we still cutting EJ? Nothing, so far, tells me Whaley is this smart.

    I always thought that Leroi was a !@#$ who was making actual football decision (eg. Rex or even Whaley himself). I guess this proves that theory wrong. Cutting EJ makes extremely little sense (unless he's done something to really piss off the FO or we are bringing in a really big fish at QB).
