  1. In all of professional sports, I think the general consensus of a sleeper pick is an under the radar pick that surprises everyone and becomes a great player. It's really not that complicated. And sleeper picks can be selected during any round of a draft. For example, even if Darby was selected in the 1st, he would have still been considered a sleeper pick.
  2. Damn, another FA using us for leverage.... Kim is cheap.
  3. He's also said at one time "It's on like a mutha!@#$er". Turned it not to be the truth.
  4. I don't understand. Why would we want to trade a Pro Bowl QB for one at risk of even getting cut?
  5. Depth? Who needs depth? We barely had an injuries last season...
  6. Which doesn't mean Brock can't evolve himself and lift his game. Still, he's a huge ? and doesn't deserve that much money.
  7. Why would we want to trade Tyrod for, in all likelihood, 2 virtual 2nd rounders? Fitz to Denver makes as much sense as buying a T shirt in July.
  8. Ha. Who in the NFL (or on Earth for that matter) doesn't "feel underpaid"? Osweiler finds himself in a position of power. The reigning SB champs are now without a QB. He basically has a monopoly of the QB position in Denver. The Bills otoh have options, because their one year wonder is under contract for another year.
  9. I still can't believe this hasn't been discussed in the Bills "frustrated" thread.
  10. Definitely was sweet and all, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say he didn't write a word of it. Who goes on to twitter and praises the organization they were just fired from this morning? This is just his agent making sure no bridges are burnt and he's still employable elsewhere.
  11. I've heard of him. Let's kick the tires and see if he has anything left in the tank, despite being on the wrong side of 30, obviously.
  12. Maybe they should continue working on the definition of a catch first.
  13. I can only see it for particularly violent penalties: roughing the passer, unnecessary roughness or personal fouls. Can be for holding or interference because whole lines would be sitting in the box. But I love the idea.
  14. This is all correct. Schefter is only guilty of being a dick and ESPN acted with poor judgement letting him report this information. Nothing criminal was done here though. Well said.
  15. I think when he says "we're fully pregnant now", I think he's referring to the hiring of his brother Rob.
  16. So the DA is basically reviewing the case to see if it would lead to a conviction. They have to know that this is never going to happen. At most, he'll plead guilty to disorderly conduct or public intoxication or some other slap on the wrist.
  17. True. I can't imagine the mentality of drunk cops, but I doubt they are the totally innocent party here. Far from it. That, plus with the cameras "broken" cameras, nobody saw anything that night. Perhaps the cops lost their footing and tripped on their way out the door?
  18. Short of the patient dying on the table, I've never heard any surgeon stating their surgery was not a success. And even if that were to be the case, patients and families always focus on the positives. That's not to say the surgery wasn't a "success", we should just curb our enthusiasm when the media reports it as a "success".
  19. If this is the truth, then this is very scary. Whaley specializes in evaluating pro personnel. If he needs an agent to sell him on a signing, the player's not worth signing.
  20. That's what I was going to say! Here's his quote: Is this guy for real? He must have complete amnesia of one of the only times he's had success in the NFL.
