  1. The off-season has been very fun, but in reality, teams that are this active during FA rarely are very successful. Said another way, any success we have won’t be due to players we have added, but rather how well Allen has progressed.
  2. I guess time was told. Beane should’ve been silent on this matter. The quote is cringeworthy.
  3. Why talk about it all is right. What is Beane trying to prove by running his mouth? Either sign him or don’t. I think this is fairly out of character for Beane, who is usually tight-lipped. If I was Ansah’s agents and heard what Beane said, I’d increase my asking price.
  4. Not at all. The dude does seem very graceful in his catches.
  5. I think a Peter Pan link would’ve been more appropriate.
  6. People write that he couldn’t get good separation, but from that video, this dude is open even when he’s not open. You just throw the ball towards him and he’ll find a way to catch it even if the DB is glued to him.
  7. Information gathered from high power meetings?
  8. Next story: traded to Bills
  9. Nothing beats IK Enemkpali’s story though.
  10. Rosen’s Trade value, if there was any, just took a dive. There’s no way both would coexist on the same team.
  11. I had a dream last night that the Pats signed Chad Kelly and won a Super Bowl with him.
  12. I think the snap decision making is only part of it. I think you also need a measurable amount of intelligence to learn and understand a complex playbook. In addition, while siting and watching video of next week’s opponent, you also need to be process what you are seeing and remember it. Maybe the CB you are up against next week has a tendency to make a certain mistake. You need to recognize this and remember it on game day. This may be what coaches are for, but I’d feel better if my QB didn’t have to be spoon fed. Lets cut to the chase here. Brady got a 33.
  13. This is actually a good signal to start buying again, when nobody wants them. I have a few theories why cards from the 50s and 60s became so sought after. It’s essentially a supply and demand issue. People in the 50s and 60s collected cards as kids, not as investments, but just for fun. They grew up, moved out, and their parents threw away all their cards. They became scarce and subsequently, very valuable. People caught on to this in the 80s and 90s, but then thought of them as “investments”. They didn’t get thrown out, or not in appreciable amounts. These cards aren’t as valuable as a result. If cards are unpopular now, this makes a set up where companies maybe won’t produce as many or people won’t save them. We may have another set up where people don’t care about them and the supply:demand ratio in the future may again be very low. We’ll see!
  14. People getting unduly criticized on the internet? Nope. Never happens.
  15. This is getting good. Let’s hope Teddy demands a 5 year deal at $20M per.
  16. I’m hearing the FBI is putting the heat on Bobby Hart. May back out because may get charged with grand larceny if he actually signs.
  17. You can’t coach abolitionism.
  18. The Bills should use their ability to provide leverage. Jack up Bell’s price for those involved.
  19. He’s the owner of the current Super Bowl champs. At least that has something to do with football. Trump has nothing to do with the Bills or any other NFL team.
  20. It has nothing to do with the NFL product on the field or off. Does it?
