  1. I couldn’t care less about having enough money to sign FAs, let alone big splashes. When has heavy spending during FA ever lead to a Super Bowl win? Maybe as “add ons” to get you over the hump, but if we’re signing Big Names to be our core, we’re in trouble.

  2. Star players are supposed to step up in big games. None of them did. Diggs especially. Nowhere to be found. If he can’t fix his head, he needs to be removed, regardless of the cap implications. As for defense, I’m not sure I can say anyone on there is close to a star because none of them ever take over a game. Miller is the closest thing, but he’s either still injured or washed up.

In the scenario where the person is killed, do we subsequently win the Super Bowl right after?  If so, then it would not be so much funny….

The Smoking Man is extremely powerful. Someone must die to reverse his wishes.

  4. I’ll take Pittsburgh at home. Revenge is best served cold for when their 3rd stringers #### blocked us from the playoffs in 2004. Me still bitter over this? Nah….

Compare him to other rookie TEs.....that is a more apt comparison. It is widely known that rookie TEs have a steep learning curve.

Agreed. It was kind of odd to be comparing a rookie’s numbers to future Hall of Famers in their prime. That’s not even apples to oranges. More like apples to eggs.

Tua hurt shoulder also could be sylar vs Kyle for division

Coaches will have to be looking closely at the match ups. Going into the playoffs healthy may trump the divisional crown.

Spencer Brown flopping around like a 90 lb little B word. He was flopping so hard, even Flopping McFloppin Allen fell for it and had to go to his rescue.

If he was that injured, the team handled the whole situation very poorly.  He should have been IR'd at the beginning of the season.  This is Belichick level of messing with the injury report.

My guess is this is just one side of the story and the truth is somewhere in the middle. If a player is truly injured and is not medically cleared, then I think the team has to disclose it and place him on IR. That didn’t happen. So, he must’ve been medically cleared. It may be the case of the team saying go out and play and Elam saying he can’t.

Um, wouldn’t this mean the Bills/Elam broke NFL rules about reporting injuries?

Elam wasn’t on the injury report with an ankle until late October.

    I’m skeptical…

I’m skeptical as well. He may very well have sustained an injury, but when it resolved is probably a point of contention between Elam and the team.
