I couldn’t care less about having enough money to sign FAs, let alone big splashes. When has heavy spending during FA ever lead to a Super Bowl win? Maybe as “add ons” to get you over the hump, but if we’re signing Big Names to be our core, we’re in trouble.

Would love to get a 2nd. He should’ve stepped up and took over that game. But he didn’t. I don’t want anymore disgruntled player castoffs from other teams anymore. Apparently they eventually lose their shine.

Star players are supposed to step up in big games. None of them did. Diggs especially. Nowhere to be found. If he can’t fix his head, he needs to be removed, regardless of the cap implications. As for defense, I’m not sure I can say anyone on there is close to a star because none of them ever take over a game. Miller is the closest thing, but he’s either still injured or washed up.

Beane’s biggest mistakes have been his contract restructurings. He’s done it with Diggs and Miller and countless others. Now there’s no easy out from either one.

In the scenario where the person is killed, do we subsequently win the Super Bowl right after? If so, then it would not be so much funny….
The Smoking Man is extremely powerful. Someone must die to reverse his wishes. -
This is a classic Bill Belicheck move. He’s secretly taken the job already and just wants to F over the Bills one last time to strength his legacy over the division.

If they bring anyone in it is most likely Rivera.
Yep. I agree, unless there’s some bad blood we don’t know about. I think they have high respect for each other. -
I’ll take Pittsburgh at home. Revenge is best served cold for when their 3rd stringers #### blocked us from the playoffs in 2004. Me still bitter over this? Nah….

Compare him to other rookie TEs.....that is a more apt comparison. It is widely known that rookie TEs have a steep learning curve.
Agreed. It was kind of odd to be comparing a rookie’s numbers to future Hall of Famers in their prime. That’s not even apples to oranges. More like apples to eggs. -
So, basically, this is going to come down to the 4th quarter of the final game of the season, maybe even final play, and despite the best efforts of McD, we’re actually going to win this.

We don’t need an OT that plays in the defensive backfield.

I would consider sitting him if it would make a difference for whatever injury he has (if he does).
-
He has a significant shoulder injury, but I don’t want to say anything about this shoulder injury because I want to keep his shoulder injury a secret.

Tua hurt shoulder also could be sylar vs Kyle for division
Coaches will have to be looking closely at the match ups. Going into the playoffs healthy may trump the divisional crown. -

What's an update on the standings and rooting interest the remainder of the day?

How many times has a opposing QB won over the Bills, only to be benched later in the season? We have 2 Wilsons and Jones. Who else?

McDaniel: “Those can be tricky”
Translation: I’m going to make him play, explaining it will be tricky.

Spencer Brown flopping around like a 90 lb little B word. He was flopping so hard, even Flopping McFloppin Allen fell for it and had to go to his rescue.- 1

Just to think our season would’ve been much, much different if we didn’t F up the games against the Eagles and Broncos. 2 easily winnable games.

the Bills aren't 7-6 because of the guy who has punted the second fewest times in the league.
It’s a game of inches. You never know. -
All this “tush push” talk is really strange to me. The Eagles didn’t invent this. An offense pushing the pile forward has been part of football as far back as I can remember.

Tyler Dunne is a Bills fan. Did his 20,000 word screed just cement the Bills tighter than any team in the league?
I don’t think it had any effect. Like always, the team placed themselves into a position where 1 freak play decided the game. Just like the PHI or DEN games. Luckily, this one went in our favor.- 1

If he was that injured, the team handled the whole situation very poorly. He should have been IR'd at the beginning of the season. This is Belichick level of messing with the injury report.
My guess is this is just one side of the story and the truth is somewhere in the middle. If a player is truly injured and is not medically cleared, then I think the team has to disclose it and place him on IR. That didn’t happen. So, he must’ve been medically cleared. It may be the case of the team saying go out and play and Elam saying he can’t.2 minutes ago, Einstein said:Um, wouldn’t this mean the Bills/Elam broke NFL rules about reporting injuries?
Elam wasn’t on the injury report with an ankle until late October.I’m skeptical…
I’m skeptical as well. He may very well have sustained an injury, but when it resolved is probably a point of contention between Elam and the team.

The Bills began their search in earnest…
At least for the DC, which we didn’t even know was an open position, they are doing one.
