Josh Allen on The Dan Patrick Show, 11:25am EST
Saint Doug replied to Seasons1992's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like this quote “The best ability is availability”. I’m sure he got that from Beane and McD as I’m pretty sure they have said something similar in the past. And doesn’t bode well for Milano. -
I’m not sure if it was a clean or illegal hit. It’s borderline either way. I do know one thing though. It needed to happen. We could not let that ball be caught. I would have him do the same thing over and over if needed, and our secondary should not be shy about delivering such contact.

So what the hell was with Milano
Saint Doug replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The coaches who are with him daily thought otherwise. Im not saying this was a wise move, but the 2019 Bills would’ve lost this one in the last 2 minutes. -

This was a must win game. The season would’ve been in turmoil if we dropped this one. They put their best guys out. -
Bills sign LB Ahmad Gooden to PS
Saint Doug replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Come on guys, would you want Yannick or Ahmad? -
We don’t need a player with that many sacks on our line. Would disrupt the current chemistry.

Dolphins name Tua Tagovailoa starting QB going forward
Saint Doug replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Knowing this cycle very well, Miami is merely trying to preempt the move from “play very well” to the “get paid” part, ultimately avoiding the “suck” part of the cycle. This is a great use of Miami’s analytics department. -
Jets may also be shopping Q Williams.

This isn’t hard to figure out. Opponent defenses and STs can score points. I don’t know how often this has occurred though. -
My 2 biggest disappointments this year are Edmunds & Oliver
Saint Doug replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That’s the definition of a bust. If they were drafted in the 5th/6th round, which is how they are playing, people wouldn’t be up in arms and calling them busts. There’s no such thing as a 5th round bust, just 1st and maybe 2nd round busts. And Edmunds and Oliver fit the bill. -

Busts -
We have no running game and opponents know this. Sign Bell to a 1 year, incentive laden deal. Nothing to lose.

I also believe that Goodell should not force a forfeitsure upon the Titans. In the essence of the word, this decision has to come from the Titans. Give them the option of playing in Buffalo with players who have never tested positive. This may mean that they don’t have enough players to cover all positions or that some will be playing offense and defense. Not our problem. If the Titans do not think this is feasible, then they can forfeit. A positive Covid test should be no different than an injury. If you have key players at key positions that can’t play, there’s no NFL clause that kicks in that allows teams to reschedule a game.

Stephon Gimore tests positive for Covid
Saint Doug replied to boco357's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is something that has been documented as happening in the Olympics in regards to PED testing. Very elaborate schemes, including secret tubes and tunnels, have been used to obfuscate true testing. Although, stakes are much higher with Covid testing. Lives are on the line. -
I don’t want a forfeit win, but given the very abnormal circumstances, I can’t provide a good enough reason why it shouldn’t be the prudent thing to do. Let’s get away from all the stats, fantasy football, bragging rights angles. We’re in a pandemic. The team that we are to play next week was grossly negligent in their handling of the NFL’s protocol. We didn’t ask for this. They did. The Commish has specifically said forfeiture is on the table. It should be used to not only keep players safe, but also to continue the NFL season as intended.

Josh's Amazing Array of Throws From Yesterday
Saint Doug replied to ChevyVanMiller's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I see him putting more touch on his throws. In the prior years, he would rifle these throws and the receivers would be able to catch them. He’s throwing them a bit softer now. -
Lol! I still have 2 warning points I got in 2013! I just assumed we are labeled for life and would feel lost if someone snatched them from me at this point. Funny thing is, one was for suggesting Dareus had a poor attitude in life. No cuss or derogatory words. The other was suggesting someone’s post was a troll post. It’s about time the warning system stepped into the 20th Century. Taking out any human element to this process is a step in the right direction.

Brian Daboll Future HC (Ken Dorsey Replacement?)
Saint Doug replied to Kmart128's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Seriously? Yes, and his name is Josh. Without Allen progressing as he has, our offense would be in the bottom half of the league. Behind every great coach is a great QB. It’s also a big boost we have an elite WR on our team this year. -
Brian Daboll Future HC (Ken Dorsey Replacement?)
Saint Doug replied to Kmart128's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I’m not so sure about this. Roman didn’t get any sniffs at HC. Plus, do we honestly think our offensive success is due to Daboll? I will give him credit for properly developing Allen though, but even this has been multifactorial. -
Mr Wendal.... Arrested development
Saint Doug replied to Carbonpoke's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Goodell is likely going to go easy on him considering it’s his first run in. I see a 3 game suspension. -
So many good young qbs in the NFL right now

That Cam Newton pic is Ridiculous. -
Are you saying that he shouldn’t have received a nerve block for a cracked rib? Pneumothorax is a known complication of the procedure. They’ll just show the NFLPA the informed consent he signed before the procedure. The better question, which has nothing to do with the pneumo, is why he was preparing to play in a football game with a fractured rib? I would love to know what the CBA says about this and who agreed this was permissible. He picked the doctor when he signed his name on the informed consent document. No one forces a procedure on anyone. He could also say he would like a 2nd opinion. Now, if the team did not formally document a signed consent prior to the procedure, then they deserve what’s coming to them.

Not expecting to see Edmunds or Milano this week
Saint Doug replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We should definitely keep them out. Winning an out of conference game will undoubted hurt us in any future tie breaking scenarios. -
Move Dodson into the starting LB's?
Saint Doug replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Our defense is fairly average when Milano is out. Let’s not run him out of town yet.
