  1. It’s pretty simple how to keep him. Keep him too busy during a deep playoff run.
  2. His use is done. He’s caught a TD, time for someone else to.
  3. “This is how high you need to jump to knock the ball down during a Hail Mary” Love to be able to see them having fun. Wouldn’t be happening if they were 3-10.
  4. True. But the same goes with having elite players. The Bills are stacked at WR, with one of them being elite and Josh has elite talent. So, is it the players who are elevating Daboll, or is it Daboll elevating the players? He’s never shown that ability in his past stints. Plus, it’s not like we are setting the NFL ablaze on offense. We’re #10 overall, with the passing offense doing all the lifting. Our rushing offense is something that needs a lot of improvement. I don’t see a big drop off occurring if Daboll leaves. I also don’t see him repeating his success somewhere else without a great QB prospect (ie him coaching Darnold wouldn’t have made him a great QB) and enough talent to surround him. He better be very choosy in where he goes, not another Pettine/Browns situation.
  5. I feel bad for Moulds. He was stuck with mediocre QBs his whole time here. If he had Kelly or Allen throwing to him, he probably would be held in higher esteem than Andre. Moulds and Allen would’ve been unstoppable.
  6. Let’s not forget how long it took Beane to find a RT. Last year it was Ford. That failed. The years before, Jordan Mills. That guy alone was the cause of many ottomans being flipped in WNY on Sundays. It took Beane 3 years to gather a respectable OL, so let’s not let it fall apart. Give Williams $10M. That’s nearly 5x what he’s making this year. And when he asks for $13M, we can remind him about Bosa.
  7. I don’t buy (and never do really) the “couple of different bounces” argument. The same could’ve be said for us. What if Diggs caught that ball in the end zone or Knox didn’t have that freak turnover. The point is, good teams are good because of they manage to generate (and take advantage of) such bounces and bad teams make their own bad bounces. I don’t even believe the Hail Mary was a “bounce”. It was the best receiver in the NFL taking advantage of an ill-prepared defense. We earned that loss.
  8. If the Bills want to keep Daboll, just keep winning. Ironically, playoff team coaches are at a disadvantage when it comes to hiring. All that will be left are the sloppy seconds.
  9. He’s the only one I would trade Allen for. Everyone else, I would laugh out of the room.
  10. There’s a bit too much “let’s cut morse” on here for comfort. The guys does his job when he’s playing. I get that he’s injured a lot, but where would this team be if Feliciano was started and got injured. Bates? Then we’d be hurting. We’d be too thin without Morse. I’d say Williams needs to be paid, but not for the cost of an average LT. I would start negotiations at $9M. He’s current making $2.25M.
  11. This has got to really suck for him to watching this from his couch.
  12. I would like to get a first round bye, but I think home field advantage this year is minimal. I would love to get a players point-of-view on this though.
  13. They definitely are making progress. For our 1st rounder, makes me want to go DB. It’s a passing league and you can never have enough DBs. A safety would be a bad idea either. Although a TE would be nice if a good one is there. It’s nice actually being able to pick BPA.
  14. Sorry to piss in the Cheerios, but these stats don’t really mean much when we are basically a throw-only offense. The 90s Bills were much more balanced. What more meaningful to me are numbers in the W column. This beats any individual stat and Josh is the main reason.
  15. This appears to be a Josh Allen “off” game. Need a running attack for games like these.
  16. I very well could be. That B word stung. Still feels like yesterday.
  17. I’m not quite sure what you are trying to say here. You suggested that the reason the Patsies are down this year is due to Covid lockouts. I said the real reason was them losing Brady, not Covid, and this is a permanent loss. I don’t see anyone on their Covid opt out list that would’ve made much of a difference. As for lockouts, Cam missed one game, but the issue is he really isn’t that good anymore, Covid or no Covid. Maybe Edelman? But he’s out due to an injury, not Covid. So, exactly how have the Pats been negatively affected by Covid?
  18. We definitely need a better running game. Every few games, Allen will have a game where he’s just “off” (but he usually come back on in the 4th). It would be nice if we could lean on a run game in those situations.
  19. Who opted out that would’ve made up for losing Brady? Canon or Hightower? Maybe they would’ve had an extra win with them playing, maybe not.
  20. Will a win this Sunday make us forget how the Steelers 3td stringers beat us in 2016 to keep us out the playoffs?
