Kids a gamer? He was brought to the hospital after the game. Playing through pain is fine, but playing through a trip to the hospital is just plain dumb.

NFL Week #14 - Jets at Bills - 1st half game thread

Just run the ball until Josh figures things out. -
I think we need to be C in either rd 1 or 2. Morse is no spring chicken and the drafted player can play guard and be groomed for C until Morse’s time is up. Then grab another interior lineman in rd 3 or 4. We also need help with MLB, as there’s a considerable drop-off when Edmunds is out. I also am not sold on our safeties when Hyde and Poyer are out. And both may be out permanently next season. I’m still not on board drafting another WR high. I think Shakir and Davis can fill the #2 role. Plus, when our offense (ie Josh) is sputtering, I’m not sure giving him another target will make all the difference. We still need the running game dimension and OL can help with this.

This needs perspective. The Wilson trade was a stroke of genius…for Seattle.

The Chiefs have a joke of a schedule coming up. We should come back to the see talk after week 17.

He’s been mentored well in the surveillance dept.

And yet, Beane wasn’t part of the organization when Tre was drafted.

I’m fine signing O’BJ, just as long as the term isn’t long (no more than a year).

When a receiver attempts to catch a ball, isn’t it the DBs job to hit them so they drop the ball? Hamlin saved a TD right there. Should he have let him complete the catch?

He needs a Super Bowl win.

Browns fans had to deal with a skunk in the stands during the game

Browns fans have to deal with a skunk on the field weekly. Anyone say this yet? -
He definitely was able to make that throw. It was just caught by the wrong team though.

He missed the comfort of laying on his money pile, so had to go back and lie down.

If that was McKittrick, it could be Allen falls in disgust for another would be touchdown drop.

But I don’t think the players can have it both ways. If they signed a guaranteed contract, it will be legally binding for both parties. The owner will be obligated to pay every cent. Likewise, if a player asks for more, the owners will remind him of this contract. It can’t be a one-way street in favor of the players. If the player thinks they are worth more, they can sign a new contract, but it won’t kick in until the end of the previous one. At least this is how it works in the NHL.

Not having guaranteed contracts allows players to hold-out/tweet about their disrespect to get back to the negotiating table. Many players play 2-3 years into a 5 year contract, then start complaining. Guaranteed contract will guarantee they have no recourse to get a raise. It’ll also put big time constraints on the salary cap. No more restructuring.
