I can't see us throwing the money at Greer considering we have too many other players to throw the money at (i.e. Trent, this off season). Additionally, we are already paying McKelvin a bunch of money. For this very reason, he will not be riding the pine very long. He will likely be a starter by next season. As for Youboty, keep him at nickle so teams don't realize how good he is - or he'll be lining up for the big payday behind Stroud.

You're right. He can get his new contract, but at the end of the year. We can't reward a game like this one. I understand he is rusty and it is his first game back, but he made the personal choice not to practice and not to gel with his fellow linemen. As for Evans, he should get a new contract done tomorrow morning.

We need to find a way for getting him on the field for every play. It would be wasteful to have him in on only selective plays. When does this guy become a free agent? This prospect scares me.

Trent did a heck of a job. He is still learning, but his pocket presence and decision making are fantastic. In the end, he got the job done against a great defense.

This is crazy. There has to be a lot more to this story than we are hearing. I don't think the bills would have willingly placed him on IR for a 2-4 week rehab. Too short handed? Alright, bring on Buggs. This is his contract year! This is going to potentially cost him millions. Its either he is going to be super pissed at the Bills and sign somewhere else, or sign on the cheap. Or, if he was smart, would demand to be released. This reminds me of what happened to Vincent. Or, another way to look at it is that this is all Peters fault. That a s$ hole!

That's an interesting point. I haven't read the actual contract agreement, but what happens if Ralph kicks the bucket? Is the contract void? If the team moves somewhere else, does it have to travel to Toronto once a year for 7 years to fulfill the contract? (If Parker buys them, can the Bills hold-out for more money? ) Or, is this a way of guarenteeing that toronto gets the Bills once Ralph dies (assuming he dies within 7 years)?
