  1. Maybe the famous TO Honeymoon Year will be cut short.
  2. Yes, but they get guaranteed money within those contracts, which basically acts as the same thing. Besides, do you work under a guaranteed contract? I wish I did.
  3. If there is a salary cap, then maybe the NFL would need to impose a deadline. There would be no point of waiting to sign, as they wouldn't gain anything by doing so. They just need to institute a rookie salary cap - it would fix a lot of the ills.
  4. Isn't this actually a contract year for him? That's probably the only reason he's motivated.
  5. Definitely not a criminal, but he may fit in well: Dimitrius Underwood.
  6. Dumb idea all around. This is turning it into a circus. And image what the players will have to go through. Now they'll have to potentially sit through 3 days waiting to hear their name called.
  7. The real losers in this whole messed-up situation are his wife and his kids. Yeah, his wife probably has some profoundly mixed feelings, but now his kids have to grow up without their father around. What a shame.
  8. I wonder what Lewis was talking about when he said McNair "sacrificed" a lot. Besides his life (which was not willingly given up), what exactly did he sacrifice? And in the BN, it states that McNair's girlfriend's life was "spiraling out of control." What about McNair's life? He had a wife and kids, but also had a secret Love Bungalo and bought this 20 year-old girl a Cadillac Escalade (and was a passenger in it while she was driving intoxicated too!). Doesn't seem like he had all his ducks in a row either.
  9. Not only that, I think Chris was checking him out. And what is Chris doing in Old Navy? Didn't he sign a huge contract a couple years ago?
  10. We have to ignore anyone at ESPN giving praise to JP. They were all just really praising TD. Anyone at ESPN who now praises Edwards is doing it more legit reasons.
  11. Who the hell is Thomas? This is ridiculous. He's probably going to be cut anyways.
  12. This is basically what it comes down to. I wouldn't be surprised if we find out the Bills offered him a somewhat low, but multi-year deal. He went with rolling the dice instead. He'll gets a chance at real free agency in a year. What do you expect? The Rams screwed him big time. They cut him when there really wasn't a league-wide LB need anymore. Players always fair better when they have more than just 2 teams trying to sign them. Pisa will eventually get his money - during next year's free agency. This was a pure financial decision.
  13. Either way, all this stuff is a mute point. Jackson is our starter for the first 4 games.
  14. Huh? I really see nothing wrong with what he wrote. It's likely true. This is also true.
  15. If this is indeed the case, why don't any of the other 31 NFL GMs (+ their hundreds of pro player scouts) believe this too? It seems that Joyner can make such outlandish comments because he will never be proved wrong. He is not saying JP is a PB player, he is saying he would be if he was playing in the right system. The key is, JP will never get the chance to prove/disprove Joyner's statements - thus Joyner will never be held accountable for this statement.
  16. It doesn't matter. Yes, he is very athletic and has a great arm, but he makes too many mistakes. Usually his mistakes are huge too. If you have ever watched him play instead of dumping out stats, you would have noticed that he single-handedly lost games for the Falcon's. Subpar intelligence and low accuracy don't mix well with QBs. We need a guy who minimizes mistakes - we gave up on JP already.
  17. Not only is this guy total scum (even before the dog fighting bit), he is a sh1tty quarterback. He blows. I'll pass.
  18. Well, that must be a load off his shoulders.
