Dude should be fired on the spot
I remember listened to talk radio last week and the hosts were just hammering home one point: for SD to rest important starters. That was their 1 job.

Cardinals are stuck with Murray. That’s a contract that can’t be moved. Might as well hire a HC who will agree to work with him.

The selection of the neutral site will likely come down to 2 factors: availability and money. Whatever place is available that has the lowest associated costs to host an NFL will be selected.

Pretty sure McDermott is undefeated out of the bye week??
It may be true, but iirc, they don’t play well in the 1st halves. We won’t have the luxury of overcoming any slow start against a playoff team.
-
I don’t like bye weeks. The Bills seem to come out rusty each time.
-
I think they shouldn’t give anyone home field advantage this year. Just randomly draw where the games will be for all playoff teams. As for wild-card bye week, I don’t think it really matters if the Bills play this game or not.

There’s was a very nice tribute to Damar tonight at the Caps game.

My best guess is that this is correct. The Hit didnt look severe enough to cause commotio cordis, and if it did, he would have sudden vfib, and wouldnt have stood up.
I think a vascular injury, vertebral artery (neck seemed to take most of the blow) or aortic/subclavian artery rupture/dissection is most likely. Seems that he's stabilized now, but may have suffered brain injury due to cardiac arrest or hypotension.
Was discussing with wife. We’re both physicians and this is what we think as well . One moment talking to teammates and the next, on the ground. Aortic rupture/dissection is likely - something caused blood from reaching the brain quickly. V fib from a hit to chest wouldn’t have been delayed.

I could still see Miami losing to the Jets. That D is legit. Just need White to not turn over the football.
They’ll throw him around like a rag doll again. It’s really not the players fault, but I imagine someone is going to get the distinction of ending this guy’s career, perhaps in an ugly way.

They have to show signs - motor impairment, stumbling, looking dazed, going toward 5he wrong sideline or huddle, not looking stable, ataxia, etc. and Tua showed none of that.
But do they? The Dolphins already have shown even this doesn’t cut it. So, I’m not going to rely on them to pick up subtle clues. -
Josh always does much better in Prime Time games. Like clockwork.

How STUPID can people be? I’m pretty damn sure that what he would’ve made on any bet is small beans compared to his salary.

I’m curious. Does this happen with Chief’s fans? Do they nitpick (maybe deservedly) all the negatives of their team and worry incessantly? I’m not sure, maybe other elite teams have no obvious issues.

How in hell did we lose to this team?

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. He should get the ball.

What about the 39th Alternatives?

It’s probably not the most intelligent thing do, but it’s respectable. I give him props.

This game is a good argument for flexing all games, including TNF and MNF.

Being ready and being 100% are two different things as we saw with Allen's elbow issues. They likely won't be playing cupcakes in the playoffs like they have in the regular season.
I’m really not sure what a “shoulder sprain” is other than a diagnosis of exclusion. Sounds like something that shouldn’t be a problem, until it is. This is his throwing arm and any injury to his rotator cuff could get ugly fast. They should shelve him until the playoffs.

Draft a center and let him cut his teeth playing guard a couple years.

Firing Frazier would be a serious error.
Agree. Firing would nullify the draft pick we would otherwise get from having him hired while a Bills employee.

It would take a player to die of heat stroke before the reactive NFL does anything.
That box has already been checked, multiple times, but still no substantial changes.

So I mean, what's undiagnosed? He had an x-ray at the Stadium, which unlike the Visitor's locker room is updated equipment. He had a doctor examine him.
It's a league-wide practice: guys get dinged up, make sure nothing's broken and there are no findings on physical exam like joint laxity or limited ROM. Then they take painkillers or a painkiller shot and go back in the game.
He may not have needed a shot, either. Human pain tolerance when adrenaline and endorphins are all revv'ed up is pretty incredible. He had an undiagnosed rib injury. A negative x-ray by no means an absence of a rib fracture. So, you have to go by function. Is a player able to perform in an absence of analgesics? Miller’s ACL wasn’t seen on the most sensitive imaging we have, yet still had an ACL tear. No one was going to inject that knee with toradol, pat him on the butt, and send him back in.
Now, if a player has a known injury and it’s determined that playing through discomfort won’t affect the long-term prognosis, then inject away. You don’t do this clinically unclear injuries though.

I would love a Transformer stadium. You press a button and it transforms into a dome.
