  1. I was going to say add Pete Metzelaars to the list but you already have him! Great list. You forgot a couple though. Eddie "coach-on-the-field" Robinson. And another - I'm half-serious on this one - Turner Gill.
  2. It is true, under Nix we have found some great players already in the NFL ranks. However, during this same time Whaley has been Director of Pro Personnel and a Pro Personnel scout. So, I wonder how much credit should actually go to Whaley for these pick ups. As for Nix, I used to be a big supporter, but this game against the Seahawks has me thinking. We could have had Wilson, but we reached for some other scrub instead. We could have had Dalton, Kaepernick, or Cousins, but we reached for some other garbage instead. Why was Nix so scared to pick up a non-first round QB in past drafts? For this, he needs to held responsible. Keep him around for a bit, but completely hand Whaley the keys.
  3. Keep him on board. We don't want any late season win-streak shenanigans.
  4. I wouldn't flush them at this point in the season, it might provide an unnecessary spark.
  5. Running for the bus? The best thing the Bills could do, besides inventing a time machine so they can go back in time to lose to the Jags, is to drop their next two games. As things sit today, T'eo won't likely be still on the board when the Bills pick. And besides, the Bills are not one superstar LB away from being a contender.
  6. This game is turning out exactly as planned. Nix's words earlier this week are not a coincidence.
  7. I'm fairly certain Bowe will end up with NE. Bank on it.
  8. If Cousins lights it up and they flip him for a 1st or an early 2nd, Washington's FO will look absolutely brilliant. Buffalo can only dream of having such a "problem".
  9. I'd send Washington a 2nd for him. That's quite a good return on their initial investment, plus they need draft picks.
  10. That's what I was thinking. This thread is definitely a Crayonz thread. No doubt in my mind.
  11. Season was over after we "lost" to Arizona, then lost to the Titans. Doesn't matter what people say, playoff teams don't put forth such performances as those. The astronomical record-setting blow-outs to SF and NE (2 "real" play-off teams) are just icing on the poop cake. No, I'm not upset by the loss. It would be highly unfortunate if the players weren't up, but I'm not. Better draft pick here we come.
  12. Sorry Dude, we're past that. Still doesn't make Vick even a half-way decent QB. He's a 33 year-old turn-over machine benched by a 3-9 team. So, it basically doesn't matter what you're trying to say.
  13. Wait, the Bills *just* gave up the season? No, my friend, that was weeks ago.
  14. There's no way Vick is an upgrade from Fitz either. The numbers don't lie in this case. They are both retread turnover machines. Vick has only had 2 good seasons in his entire career, not to mention he's as fragile as glass.
  15. Dog fighting aside, I don't understand why we would want a 33 year-old QB who has been benched on a 3-9 team. A QB who completed 58.5 percent of his passes in nine games this season, threw nine interceptions and lost five fumbles. Really, someone put forth an argument on why he thinks Vick is the answer. And "he's better than Fitz" isn't a valid argument.
  16. No, you're not. I always though Nix was a straight shooter, always giving us the truth. But this is the first time I find him straight lying to us. He is full of crap here. It's funny how we always see Nix trying to get better at every position. They're always looking under rocks, signing free agents, collecting UDFAs in search of better players. Case in point: cutting Moorman. All except for the QB position, the most important position in football, which Nix has completely ignored. All while we see other teams snatching up QBs that seem to be working out for them. And why exactly would we want to pick up a QB that was just benched on a 3-9 team? Are you being sarcastic?
  17. Nix is lying out his ass. It was never their intention to fill other areas of needs first then fill the QB position last. Their intention (and hope) was that Fitz would be that guy. Plus, QB is not a position you just plug in. They usually take a few years to develop.
  18. This is the concrete way of thinking (and I use this term losely) about this question. Did Indy really lose out last year? There seems to be more way than one to win at this game. What happened to the "winning atmosphere" that was formed during the first half of last season?
  19. I like the way the Colts did it. Painful, but quick, and the payoff was tremendous. 1 losing season, not 15.
  20. Is it all that unusual for a player to be celebrating a score by gesturing excitedly towards his team? Are we reading too much into this?
  21. It doesn't. First, we are not players. None of us here are Bills players, so our thinking on this board could not possibly have any effect on the Bills players' mentality. Second, the Bills are notorious for winning against bottom feeders this time of the year (and losing to the 2nd/3rd stringers of playoff-bound teams too). So far, this "winning" apparently has had no positive effect on the likelihood of winning during earlier parts of the season.
  22. As we look back 5 years, this win will have proved a costly one. Way to beat the scrubs. 6-10 here we come.
  23. Or as another poster recently wrote on this forum; We win = Whip cream on ****.
  24. Kind of creepy that he drove to Arrowhead to kill himself. Wonder why? Edit: to thank Pioli and Crennel? Still very creepy. Were they really the most important people in his life?
