  1. Josh Allen / RB's 42 McDermott -14 Brady -7 Complimentary bla bla bla -6 Not enough to eat -10 Bengals 24 --------------- Bills 5 Bengals 24 sorry, I just had some coffee and my meds kicked in. Bills 34 Bengals 28
  2. Well, if Kurt Warner was managing a grocery store and got there, I guess anything is possible. What a swing and a miss by the Cardinals.
  3. This is a fair take, but our draft picks and FA signings never seemto make up for the lack of talent around Josh. I don't even care if we're a run first team, but when it's stopped or we get turn over prone, we'll struggle to offset it with the passing game or defensive play. Many are simply frustrated that that we have to have this identity while having a generational talent at QB. I don't disagree. The lack of balance on offense will only take us so far. If the passing game starts to click a bit and the defense gets healthier, maybe they'll go further than I think. I just think poor decisions are catching up with us and forcing us to take on an identity that's counterintuitive to paying a top 3 QB.
  4. He won't be happy here either.
  5. Would you remove his glasses and shave his beard for all that? Asking for a friend.
  6. Agree with your point. He's got some solid talent and coaching helping him. He certainly doesn't have the misfortune of trying to make chicken salad out chicken crap. I still give him credit for taking advantage of it.
  7. He doesn't have the pure physical talent Josh has, but he's still big and he moves very well. He stays calm under pressure and will take the easy completions when he needs to. He's a complete QB and playing at a level many quarterbacks never get to. He's not D-bag like Brady. I had the opportunity to see him interact with kids at a football camp and seems like a genuinely good guy. I don't think what we're seeing is just luck or great coaching. It's still too early to crown him, but I think he's the real deal. I still hope the Bills kick the crap out of the Pats, but we may be a regime change or six away from that happening again on a regular basis.
  8. What's Jerry Rice doing these days?
  9. I don't think you can start this by breaking fans down into "apologists" and everyone else. I appreciate what the man has done, but I do believe he needs to adapt and innovate. If I'm the owner and I feel a better coach is available for my franchise, I'm considering it. McDermott isn't a bum, but I don't see a leader that's learning from his own failures. It's tough to look in the mirror for all of us. He's paid handsomely to know what's looking back at him and improve if necessary. Innovate or stagnate. I don't care what the process was yesterday or last year. Improve it or let the next guy try. He could help his cause by surrounding himself with coordinators that aren't yes men. Great leaders know the importance of new ideas and relinquishing control in areas where they're not strong. I doubt McDermott has that in him. That my vote.
  10. Like many here, I really like what I see from Bosa. He's talented and tenacious. The issue becomes what you have to pay to resign him and potentially deal with the torch and pitchfork crew (me included) calling for your job because you overpaid or didn't get the value you hoped for.
  11. They'll need to review the tape at season's end to determine if he was a true process guy.
  12. I can see how he'd be offended by Josh trying to get him off with his knee. That some Christian Wilkins type stuff right there.
  13. So you won't be able to watch for a month or two?
  14. This is the impact of their contracts and their teams over reliance on their talents.
