  1. I guess we will see now what RB depth this team really has. Boom....out goes the lights!
  2. I have access to a diagnostic computer and smoke machine but it's still not that easy. It gives you a code which I listed in my first post and you go from there. It makes it even harder when there is no visible leaks. If it was easy everyone would be doing it! Thanks for your response!
  3. I'm replacing the purge valve next. If that don't do it I will double check the wire harness at the rear that goes to the vent solenoid valve. Thanks Thank you but... The tranny lines have nothing to do with EVAP code.
  4. Fez, I replaced the cap with a new OEM and even had the code reset with automotive scanner. The check engine light still came back on. I wish it was just the gas cap this time. thanks
  5. Not only is the gas cap tight, but I replaced the old with a nice new OEM cap. thanks I have access to most of the diagnostic tools where I work. I'm friends with a few good mechanics too. Thing is they are not chevy certified nor do they work on these common problems all the time. We have a smoke machine that will tell you where the leak is coming from and we tried that but didn't see any leaks in the system at all. I think I have it narrowed down to the wire harness at the vent solenoid at the rear of the car. Thanks for the reply
  6. The fix is easy if you know exactly what to replace. I refuse to give the stealer my hard earned money if I can repair it myself.
  7. I like to fix things myself.....most of the time I can. My daughters car is a 2003 Chevy Cavalier with 91,000 miles. A few weeks ago the check engine light came on with a code of P0456 (Small Evap Leak). Here is what I've done so far to try correcting it. 1. New OEM Gas cap 2. Replaced Canister vent solenoid at the rear and checked all wires for broken or damage. 3. Did a smoke test on it with a mechanic friend. Could NOT find any leaks at all. 4. Reset the check engine light 3 times now after doing each step to only have the light return on after 40 to 60 miles of driving in the car. I'm really stumped and not sure what I should try next. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you and I look forward to correcting this problem. I hate being stumped! What are my final options? 1. replace purge solenoid at front? 2. Could it be the engines PCM (Computer)? 3. Vapor Charcoal Canister? 4. Gas filler tube to the tank? 5. What about the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor? Like I said...there were NO visible leaks when we smoke tested it. We did this test numerous times!
  8. Depth.......? You mean like #1 picks such as CJ Spiller?
  9. My heart says this....... Buffalo needs to get the young WR's involved in the game early and often. Move the ball well with Fred Jackson and keep the Dallas defense on the field. Buffalo 27 Dallas 20 My head says it's another stinker from Buffalo..... Ware has 3 sacks today and Dez Bryant is unstoppable. Dallas 33 Bills 14
  10. Spiller looks like a boy among men out their on the field. I haven't seen him make the first man miss yet. He always gets tackled by the first guy that touches him. I thought Spiller was supposed to be a dynamic type of RB? He looks very average to me when he touches the ball. Nothing special at all. Im waiting for his break out game just like everyone else.
  11. Spiller...to this point is ANOTHER wasted pick for Buffalo. If Fred Jackson goes down, it's over for us. Buffalo better be looking ahead and I'm assuming they will be drafting another RB in the draft next year.
  12. And of course we will all be wrong about our team this week. Watch the Bills knock off Dallas........37 to 14 this week! Yea Baby!
  13. I don't see this team beating Dallas on the road this week. Dallas 27 Buffalo 17
  14. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/137912-cj-spiller-vs-the-jets/
  15. Did you hear that? Buffalo's HIGH POWERED OFFENSE!
  16. Maybe the Bills contacted him?
  17. I'd like to see CJ Spiller have a "coming out" party this Sunday vs the Jets. I'd say he is about due for something special! Get this kid involved in the offense early and often.
  18. McIntyre, what a beast on special teams. I'm so impressed to see how our Buffalo Bills are playing this year. It's fun again!
  19. His work load is week in and week out. It would be nice to see Fred have a blow during the game once in awhile to keep him fresh. Maybe Chan has no confidence in CJ Spiller at the RB position? CJ seems to always go down on first contact.
  20. Freddie has that power?
  21. I agree, I thought Spiller would have had some carries yesterday especially at the end of the game. Freddie can't be expected to carry the load every game, can he?
  22. Should we be a little concerned at all with the carries Fred Jackson is getting at RB? Do we have that other RB to bring in and pick up the slack if Freddie needs a breather or gets dinged up for a week or two? Can CJ Spiller be that guy or is it another player that is already on this roster? I'm a little concerned with our depth at the RB position this year. Nice win yesterday.....bring on the Jets!
  23. 3 times the Sacks as Merrisman!
