I don't see a scenario where we are going with 3 DL We are better built team for the 4-3 even with our concerns at MLB I could never see Von Miller playing a traditional LB role either. He is going to be up on the line and playing to his strength as a pass rusher backfield disruptor
-
It won't be Davis simply because he makes most of his living downfield, has too many drops, inconsitencies, and doesn't win many contested catches... I expect Kincaid to fullfill a desperate need that has not been replaced since the Beasley injury. If Kincaid can do what we exepct him to be in this offense than I see him easily getting plenty of targets... It will show if we really are ready to win it all because IMO if Davis becomes #2 in tagets then nothing really has changed, but if Kincaid is #2 in targets then we are keeping opposing offenses off the field while we extend drives, win the field position battle and probably score more redzone TDs

They all call him, "Poona" 'Cause no one really knows his name (it's Kaylon FYI) He works the D-Line Dancin' and a clubbin is his trade his mama was Mez'can And his daddy was the ace of spades.

I did too ironically the numbers in the poll are way to hopeful, anything above the low numbers is really impressive. Just hitting the low numbers is still a rock solid season and it also depends on what others bring up. Do we have a more consistent run game, does Allen feel more comfortable taking the underneath stuff to keep the chains moving
-
If the OL is truly improved If Kincaid fills the role that Beasley use to do for us before the injury and If Kincaid turns out to be what we are hoping then I forsee Kincaid being the 2nd best receiver on the team this year and Allen will pushing his own personal best But Have to see it hapening in action

Analyzing 10 years of first round TE production
ddaryl replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Kincaid is going to act like a saftey valve for Allen by design, then I expect him to actually get more catched than Knox this year I believe Kincaid will surpass 30 catches this year and will grab closer to 50+. It comes down to Dorsey's X's and O's and how quickly the chemistry between him and Allen happens... If Kincaid can find the holes is the D and be that safety valve like Beasley use to be capable of then he can become our 2nd best receiver this year IMO -
Do you guys feel right about FA/Draft and the "Process" ?
ddaryl replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall
talk to me in November because the things I need to see happen will have to happen I'm hopefull, yet still concerned. We're not trying to make the playoffs, the only goal now in winning it all and I have to see those improvements being consistent heading into the 2nd half of the season -
This Bills over/under seems like stealing money
ddaryl replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
I still have concerns about enough things and those concerns won't be relieved till mid Novemeber. Does Dorsey improve and draw up some the Xs and Os to take advantage of the teams additions, and make the adjustments as the season wears on Does Kincaid provide the safety valve Allen is missing since Beasley 1st years here Is our OL improved enough from last year Is our D stil capable of stopping good teams with a new MLB and no Von Miller to start the season By no means is betting the Bills win total over or under equal a slam dunk IMO. -

iF your talking Kincaid blocking is considered a weakness for him. Which is why he is visioned as a hybrid slot WR/TE for us..... at least early on

there were not alot of players left on the board with a 1st rd grade so the move up for a weapon on the O side of the ball works for me 4th rd pick be damned

2023 offense has potential to be best in Bills history
ddaryl replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
The question really comes down to 3 things .... 1.) Dorsey / scheme 2.) Can Allen Adapt to a higher % passing game 3.) OL upgrades with #1 we have 2 possibly Dynamic TE's that can cause mismatches, but Dorsey has to draw up those X and O's with #2 Allen likes the long ball but that came with stalled drives, and sacks. I don't want or exepct Allen to give up his forte', but finding and taking the underneath stuff just to keep the chains moving is a place where Allen can improve upon.... this relies a lot on #1 #3 is really the engine that makes it all work, we have to be much better here compared to last year -
Nomenclature question for the board...
ddaryl replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
the question is how much difference in their ranking/draft board scores was Kincaid compared to the other options left There is debate that Kincaid was top 10 pick worthy.... so what player left had a grade even in that ball park... If there was a significant difference from what was left on the board compared to Kincaid then the bit of aggresiveness to move up 2 spots makes a lot of sense I watched some highlight reels of Kincaid and his route running for Utah and his ability to move the chains reminds me a lot of the job Beasley was doing for us before the injury If they can carve out a hybrid slot/TE scheme I think we are better off than actually trying to draft a WR for the slot position, and we have plenty of slot options on the roster but we won't have to depend on them to fill the Beasley shoes which has been hard than expected to replace Plus if it does help us with the run game etc... well that is just another win -
Kincaid is player worth a 1st rd grade that fell enough in the draft for Beane to make this move Best Player Available. A pass catching TE that loves contact I expect some scheme adjustments of offense

Wr Overload and what really needs to get done
ddaryl replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall
But as you alluded to it, the reason Knox is not more the receiver than what he has shown is we need him to block more often because our OL is average on its best days. I would be very happy with another solid TE.... it don't matter who is catching the ball just as long as that person is helping us gain in more overall completions 1st downs, TDs, yards etc.... TE RB WR any of those positions can fit the Bill(s) but it still comes down to having an OL thats better than last years and thats the part that scares me the most as I have lost faith in Bills mgmt to be able to fix this issue. The low cost FA route we have been doing each year is underwhelming, and when theu do draft a OL they too underwhlem or we trade away the one that has proven to be better than most of those we keep -
I disagree, he has lost a step and he ain't getting it back
