  1. Nobody can "ignore" the cap. You can get creative and push things down the line but the piper must get paid ( See the New Orleans Saints ). What we really need to do is draft a helluva a lot better in rounds 1 and 2 so we are not having to get creative and face a brutal reality sooner than we would like
  2. We were beyond desperate for a QB, and 2013 was probably the all time worse year for QBs, especially in the 1st rd. There was no way we were not drafting a 1st rd QB in 2013... we really were that desperate. I remember the debates going back and forth about who we would draft and I actually put a spreadsheet together tracing everyones opinion that offseason. I've kept that spreadsheeet because I used some funky formulas and did lots of research etc.. so I kept it as a tutorial in case I ever wanted remember I attached it for fun.. This was done on the official Bills website forum that use to exist back then. QB POLL concantenanted.xlsx
  3. and this is our consolation prize. Our Superbowl. Allen played fantastic this year and he deserves recognition, but it would of been way more special along side of a Lomabardi
  4. I don't find international games any more fun to watch then a game played here, and have zero interest in traveling abroad to see a football game. If I travel abroad I plan on seeing the sites not a football game. I don't understand why the game has to go international either. I think/really hope the NFLs greed bites them in the ass. Its worn on me and I've already reduced time and money I'm willing to invest in the league.
  5. honestly I am still depressed and pissed. Not sure how much I want to invest in next season. If people want to see change in the NFL regarding much of the stuff many fans have discussed this is the only recourse. Hit them where it hurt$. Regular season Home games being played in other countries, Blatantly obvious bad officiating, gambling... the league needs a stern reminder who there cash cow is. Problem is I doubt most fans would. I mean look at the WWE. Completely fake, openly admitted yet dumb asses still pay money for that tripe. Fans have all the control if they would use it
  6. Josh is not built that way. He bleeds Buffalo blue like the rest of us. He loves the staff the team the city, and has said so many many times, to the point where the only satisfaction he will have is ending our pain with a SB victory. Judging his character I don't even consider him going to greener pastures as a possibility.
  7. Come on man. Josh is not like this, and Garett knows Cleveland screwed up at the QB position and it has to be torn down to move forward. Which he does not want to have to endure for good reason
  8. Glad Josh has a positive attitude and a determination, I wouldn't want him sulking, I sulk enough for everyone regarding the Bills. All I can say to friends who approach me about the KC loss is "We are Buffalo we are used to it"
  9. NOT A FAN OF THIS BS. Regular season games must remain in the USA.. give them all the exhibitions they want but this steals a home game from a team
  10. Maybe if he had as many dissapointmetns as us long timers have had he would be handlng it just like us
  11. I haven't watched a superbowl since 2015 when Seattle won it because I live near Seattle. Befor that I think I watched a Greenbay SB in the late 1990s . I do not lie the over paegenty of the game. Its over done and annoying Also given the state of the NFL and their insistance on playing regular season games in foreign coutries, the questionable reffereeing, and the NFL entity as a whole, I choose to limit my exposure to the NFL to the Buffalo Bills and nothing else. You want to get someones attention li,it the money you spend and if enough people do this we can get some changes that benefit the cash cow... Taht is US!!!!! we are the cash cow
  12. same.. I mentioned a few times that I can feel no peace until the Bills win it all. A SB appearance will not be good enough, we have to win it all.
  13. No Blitz pickup.. How did we not see this coming
  14. The extension or restrucutre does similiar things. Frees up money today and pushes much of it down the line. If Josh does neither we will have less money to play with, and the conversation changes to Josh wants out.
  15. I agree we will have somewhere in this range when it all shakes out. How much of that money will be used to replace the players we let go? How much wil be left after we have a full roster. AND how much are you budegeting for a solid speedy WR because the good ones will not fit in after all is said and done. Unless we trade up we will be stuck with whatever falls to us. It will be alot like last offseason IMO. We will be dealing with teir 2 FAs Are we going to resign Cooper or let him go ?? Smauel ?? Hollins ?? Are we going to Upgrade our DL or stick with what we have ?? How about James Cook, do we extend him, and how much do we pay for a RB ? What about S and CB??? I know we will draft some but we need upgrades here... Bottom line that $15 million to $30 million isn't a lot when you are resigning your own, replacing players whose contract expired or let go, and have a few needs as well. I assume this number includes projected extensions and cuts. I just don't see us being able to fill holes and make an impactful top teir FA acqusition without causing some pain elsewhere. Extension or restructure it will create space this offseason
  16. He was on the practice squad mostly to be a player/coach for the other DBs on the roster. Very little money or time wasted
  17. Please show me all this cap room we have, and then tell me how you plan to fill the voids left by the players we do not resign to gain this cap room. We can restrucutre Allen for a little room but we do not have that much cap room. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/_/year/2025/sort/cap_maximum_space -2 million on the cap with 5 million in dead cap space... so far
  18. What excuse did I make. That is the way I viewed the game and our loss. Not one single excuse in there
  19. So what are you saying here. Just come out and say what you are thinking.. I believe that is a penalty and it wasn't called so it didn't happen.
  20. KC was in Allens face all game. If we did the same to Mahommes the result could of been different IMO. I agree Allen did not have the time to be comfortable much of game and it showed with poorly thrown passes As for WR. Yes we could use WR, but this team was able to scroe 30 points +++ most games with what we have, so I do not view WR to be a 1st rd need as much as I would prefer DL that can make a difference.
  21. Or have a DL capable of causing havoc in the back field like KC did to us forcing mistakes and stopping the Tush Push over and over again
  22. Am I missing an inside joke or something. People keep posting links that go nowhere for me
  23. Plain and simple.. We were beat by the better, superior team. We were close but its a game of inches and KC was able to win those inches
  24. We are putting up close to 30 pts a game..... and won 13 games this year 15 including playoffs. We have issues but this doens't even come up in coversation with the majority. Does it matter if we put up 30 by running or do we have to put up 30 by passing which In your opinion is a superior 30.
