  1. I can picture in my mind a world without war, a world without hate. And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.
  2. One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said, "Disneyland burned down." He cried and cried, but I think that deep down he thought it was a pretty good joke. I started to drive over to the real Disneyland, but it was getting pretty late.
  3. I agreed to both of your posts. There is truth is both statements
  4. Dorsey is not the right OC for a QB like Josh IMO. Yes he expects it but is it happening ? I honestly gave my opinion and that is not going to change unless some how it magically fixes itself, but then we will see lots of changes into how we gameplan and scheme which backs my point. Josh can read D's just not at the highest level of other HoF QBs who were masters at the pre-snap read and Dorsey needs to do something differently. Josh does his best when he is allowed to let plays develope. Our OL / pass blocking is an issue which keeps Josh from being Josh. The quick passing game the Bills try to run just does not produce consistent results When Josh is tasked to make the quick throw we have seen him muscling the ball between 3 defenders many times. Pre snap read should be able to find an open receiver with more space.
  5. The offense has issues but I agree we would most likely be 6-1 or at least 5-2 with a fully healthy D Unfortunately every team needs to have depth and coaches who can scheme a team to play better when the inury bug hits.
  6. All these compalints about receivers RBs blocking OL schemes and Josh's struggles all have 1 common denominator
  7. Improve a bit, but he will never excel at it comapred to those who turned that ability into muliple SB appearances and wins Thats my opinion and its why I feel Dorsey is the wtong OC for a QB like Josh
  8. or maybe he needs puppy uppers
  9. He isn't. Just like 99% of QB that ever play the game don't have that ability at that level. You act like anyone on the planet can do anything if they just focus. People have different strengths and different abilities, and some people don't have any. It is what it is. Josh will never be a presnap quick pass QB anywhere near the levels of Brady or Montana IMO But give Josh time with superior blocking and he will make teams pay.
  10. thats ok. You can have your feelings IMO chances are slim to none and slim is packing their bags. I said I would make my call in mid October, so I did. Its my call and nobody elses. I stick by it
  11. Yes but if he has time he has time. He is never going ot be the QB that pre-reads and make plays like consistently like some great QBs do in that type of offense
  12. .I said before the season by mid October we would know what this team was going to be. There is a chance of making the playoffs ZERO chance of going to or winning the SB IMO
  13. Unfotunaltey money spent does not translate to a the OL we would like to see. Dawkins is average, and coming in to camp out of shape is no good. RT is ugly. Our center does ok but is not a stud either. the line is improved but still not good enough obviously. Josh needs more time and better overall pass blocking. Or he needs to be able to master the quick passing game by indetifying the D pre-snap. We have heard he doesn't do a lot of film study and that is because thats not his strength. Therefore you have to playt to his strengths, and that is something Beane and comapny are not very good at
  14. If Josh has time to let plays develop he can pick apart teams. Its the quick passing game up tempo Offense that most of the NFL uses that is not Josh's strength IMO. Josh is never going to be a Brady who was a master at pre snap reads Receivers have more time to get speration with a stronger OL and pass blocking in general. Josh can find open receivers better.
  15. Josh has never been quick to go through progressions. I beleive Dorsey's offence needs a QB who can disect a D before the snap and to go though progressions quickly. Which is why the lack of any serious investment in the OL and the over focus on DL has been questioned by many of us
  16. Ken is Oil Josh is water. Dorsey could be a solid OC but Josh is the wrong QB for that Offense
  17. I say its time... I would start trading away pieces that won't be here next year before the trade deadline. There is NOTHING that will change this season. Too many injuries to key players and a serious disconnect between Dorsey and Josh. None of this is fixable this year IMO.
  18. Dorsey is pure X's and O's Josh is not. Dorsey may be a solid OC for a QB who can dissect a D quicky but Josh is a QB that does best off script. There is a serious disconnect...
  19. how could you fit that under the salary cap ? or the rookie pay cap ?
  20. I agree about the lack of forward vision for the Offense / Oline... I put that on Beane
  21. The argument here is Dorsey lost or is he just not capable of scheming an Offense for a QB who doesn't watch much film and seems at his best off script. Josh is a great QB but standard X's and O's I do not think is where he shines. Dorsey might be a great OC if he had a QB who could read the D pre-snap at a higher level. I love Allen and want his to coninue to be successful here.... Is there an OC out there that does best with a QB who does his best off script. I believe they're out there, unfortunately I don't know who they are, but that itself would be a interesting conversation. I will say there is less that 1% chance Dorsey gets replaced this season. Just to late to draw up a new offense and teach it to the team
  22. Comparing him to Frazier he is an improvement. Cosidering the injuries we've had he still has the D playing at a solid level
  23. He is doing a a great job with the defense. I think McDermott might have to make the decision to find an OC who can design an offense more suited for Josh. Dorseys X's and O's aren't really working for Josh
  24. Josh does need to master the short game. It is his weakness. This could be Dorsey's X's and O's because I've seen to many times this season where Josh is trying to squeeze a quick pass into a very very narrow window. That being said he should take the 5 - 8 yds and slide when the play breaks down more often. He just needs to learn to slide and not take the hits
