Why the Bills don't care and neither should you
ddaryl replied to Hermes's topic in The Stadium Wall
thats ok. You can have your feelings IMO chances are slim to none and slim is packing their bags. I said I would make my call in mid October, so I did. Its my call and nobody elses. I stick by it -
Why the Bills don't care and neither should you
ddaryl replied to Hermes's topic in The Stadium Wall
.I said before the season by mid October we would know what this team was going to be. There is a chance of making the playoffs ZERO chance of going to or winning the SB IMO -
Unfotunaltey money spent does not translate to a the OL we would like to see. Dawkins is average, and coming in to camp out of shape is no good. RT is ugly. Our center does ok but is not a stud either. the line is improved but still not good enough obviously. Josh needs more time and better overall pass blocking. Or he needs to be able to master the quick passing game by indetifying the D pre-snap. We have heard he doesn't do a lot of film study and that is because thats not his strength. Therefore you have to playt to his strengths, and that is something Beane and comapny are not very good at

If Josh has time to let plays develop he can pick apart teams. Its the quick passing game up tempo Offense that most of the NFL uses that is not Josh's strength IMO. Josh is never going to be a Brady who was a master at pre snap reads Receivers have more time to get speration with a stronger OL and pass blocking in general. Josh can find open receivers better.

Josh’s stats so far - the Ken Dorsey Offense
ddaryl replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ken is Oil Josh is water. Dorsey could be a solid OC but Josh is the wrong QB for that Offense -
A trade is the only way to save the season
ddaryl replied to Milanos Milano's topic in The Stadium Wall
I say its time... I would start trading away pieces that won't be here next year before the trade deadline. There is NOTHING that will change this season. Too many injuries to key players and a serious disconnect between Dorsey and Josh. None of this is fixable this year IMO. -
Dorsey is pure X's and O's Josh is not. Dorsey may be a solid OC for a QB who can dissect a D quicky but Josh is a QB that does best off script. There is a serious disconnect...

how could you fit that under the salary cap ? or the rookie pay cap ?

If the Bills Don’t Make it to the AFCCG, Should McDermott Be Fired?
ddaryl replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree about the lack of forward vision for the Offense / Oline... I put that on Beane -
If the Bills Don’t Make it to the AFCCG, Should McDermott Be Fired?
ddaryl replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
The argument here is Dorsey lost or is he just not capable of scheming an Offense for a QB who doesn't watch much film and seems at his best off script. Josh is a great QB but standard X's and O's I do not think is where he shines. Dorsey might be a great OC if he had a QB who could read the D pre-snap at a higher level. I love Allen and want his to coninue to be successful here.... Is there an OC out there that does best with a QB who does his best off script. I believe they're out there, unfortunately I don't know who they are, but that itself would be a interesting conversation. I will say there is less that 1% chance Dorsey gets replaced this season. Just to late to draw up a new offense and teach it to the team -

Comparing him to Frazier he is an improvement. Cosidering the injuries we've had he still has the D playing at a solid level -

ddaryl replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
He is doing a a great job with the defense. I think McDermott might have to make the decision to find an OC who can design an offense more suited for Josh. Dorseys X's and O's aren't really working for Josh -
Unleash Josh Allen...stop trying to change him
ddaryl replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh does need to master the short game. It is his weakness. This could be Dorsey's X's and O's because I've seen to many times this season where Josh is trying to squeeze a quick pass into a very very narrow window. That being said he should take the 5 - 8 yds and slide when the play breaks down more often. He just needs to learn to slide and not take the hits -
Where are you at this brand new “No running Josh” ?
ddaryl replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
There has been a dozen times this season where I thought Josh should of taken the 5 to 8 yds in front of him and slide. The sliding issue has been the issue and the trying to much. But I would like ot see him take those yards when they are there. But he also doesn't seemed to be dialed into the X's and O's that Dorsey draws up for him. He is best when a play breaks down. Last few weeks I've seen Josh trying to squeeze the short underneath game in triple coverage. SO either the X's and O's are not drawn up correctly or Josh does not recognize the open man when he surveils the D before the snap in regards to the quick passing game -
Milano/Jones BOTH require surgery; Per McDermott
ddaryl replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
200% agree.... This team does not have the depth to fill these holes, and does not have the salary cap room to get top players at this point. It will be a long year. -
see the 2 bad games then get back to me. Last year he had no answers in many games too You can see what you want but I'm not overly thrilled with him and we shall see how it plays out. He does lack consistency.
-
Dorsey is very inconsistent, and seems to lack in game adjustments We will know exactly where Dorsey stands by the end of the season. We have had 3 good games and 2 bad ones on offense this year. Not all Dorsey's fault on the bad but I still have concerns.
-
Now the question is, what are we doing wrong? If Zack looks like a different player somewhere else and we still struggle to produce a RB who comes close to that production whats the issue here.

Its the ratings. She brings them. But even Kelce has said the they are taking it too far -
lets see how they hold up, but I'm encouraged

Steelers OC May Have Burner Account.

I think it just shows how social media has become almost unbearable. People are so afffected by it they feel the need for this kind of shennanigans. -
I agree there is a flaw. but I think you take it to far with the 1 pass for 99 yards argument. IMO it should be perfect Attempts/Catches no INTs or Fumbles. If you go 24 for 25 thats not perfect. The QB would score high just not perfect. It should represent perfect execution from the QB for the game
